Mellow,
Bit of advice needed.
I last did a Trackday at Croft at the start of October. I had the oil changed right before that day. The car has been run sympathetically since then and I am now booked to go on the 29th December day. Should I change the oil or not? It will be getting a scheduled service in February anyway.
Thanks
Steve
PS I have a DBM Fugly.

hope this helps,
simon

Si, I'd be happy to take you out mate but I've only got one seat Sorry !
However.......I could take you out in your beastie
Glad you got the pass out Simon....see you there mate.
Remember guys, the on site fuel station is definately open...SUL @ £0.99p but saves messing about going back to the services ?
Johnathan, I've text you back mate....or mail me at mellow@sidc.co.uk

There is a Shell Optimax garage about 3-4 miles from the circuit. You head out through Castle Donington villiage and then on to the A38 (I think that's the right road number).
But it is a lot easier to buy petrol on site

Mellow, I think I will phone you or Jon, some of my questions are either long winded to type or probably potentially embarassing
Ok here is one..
Do they do morning tickets only? I meed to get back to Stafford for 5ish, so guess an afternoon as I had planned will be out?
What about tyre pressures?
Ok, Ill stop there....

Free spectating Dave....but if you have a 4 x 4 Cossie mate.....get it on the black stuff
Amanda.....tel; 07799 - 881188
Afternoon at a discounted price (i.e; £25) isn't a problem....however, not sure if you can just pay for the morning.....bearing in mind there is no lunch break and it finihes at 4.00pm why not come and watch...have a few laps with people then pay to go out from say 12.00pm - 3.30pm and plenty of time to get back ?
Tyre preasures on your Pug would be an extra 8 - 10lb in your fronts and 6 - 8lb in your rears.....if wet...reduce by approx 2lbs

Unsure about noise limit on this day Andy I'm afraid....they're normally circa 98db's with the odd one being 105 !
Yes you can pay on the day though.
Sorry if it doesn't help you decide to venture up or not....this is the only problem of leaving it so close to the actual day....there's no-one to ask these questions of until the day now
