Cool

The weather for tomorrow courtesy of the Met Office "Dry with some sunshine but chilly". Sounds good for turbo motors.

Lunch is usually 1-2pm.

Si.

Remind to stay well away from any trackdays you do / promote if that's the kind of driving standard that's going on. At least at the BookaTrack day that sort of driving isn't tolerated. I quite value A) My life and B) My body panels.

Just IMO of course, but you shouldn't be advertising the fact that you'll be driving like that. Trackdays are meant to be "Non-competitive" are they not?

Mike....calm down....just a bit of friendly banter that's all.....just a group of regulars on this thread who know each other extremely well....all BBS's have a similar "banter" side to them....even Bookatrack ....who by the way are a very professional well organised trackday company (pssst....Andy, can I have that tenner now )

Catflap.....RALMFSO......by the time you arrive we'll have dried a perfect line out for you slow open tops

SLOW?????????

HHAHAAHAH how wrong you are, i have no brakes, , thinking of cutting a hole in teh floor, and using a stick on a pivot (rusty nail) to slow me down.

OOO and besides my co pilot is a cracking shot, only last week he took out a volvo at 40 yards (that will teach it to be faster than me)

we could attach my action man's parachute to the roll bar & then deploy it at crucial moments for that added braking effect if you want??

might help!

If only you knew my pretty if only you knew

It was a set up day you nini :P, if you referring to the blue clio, that passed me on MY FIRST LAP OUT ON THE DAY – YOU KNOW THE WARM UP LAPS THE ONES WHERE YOUR LEARING THE LINES AND WARMING UP THE RUBBER , then im speechless about how much I was blown away LOL, so im sorry to disappoint you but I was taking it rather easy at first, it was only late afternoon I was pushing the car (I don’t seem to recall the clio passing me then ) it was a case of - out for some laps, back in set up, out for some more and back in. Lots of trial and error (more of the error-i will admit), and if you had read some of the earlier threads you may have known that

Blown by a clio cup hahahahahah nice one ive not laughed like that for a long time ;

I passed that white evo, the 400bhp+ one, its was easy (so what if he was on his cool down lap I still passed him

And I resent the accusation that I got blown by anyone, honest officer I was just slowing down looking for somewhere to park

LOL no mate I didn’t

Me and dodge were pottering around on the first few laps, just looking at the dry patch to figure out the lines we should take. I was quite apprehensive due to the set up I was running, ill be more confident when mart sorts me some stoppers.

There were a few high powered scoobs and evos there that I could never have passed, mellow cozzy is in a different league Kudos to the fast ones . But when I was up to speed I was passing the odd scoob and evo, but you never know how hard they are pushing, they may have been testing something out (just before getting blown by a clio)

Trouble with the car (and probably my driving ) is when up to speed its very ragged and with no brakes what so ever I tended to overshoot turn in points a few times, as mello can testify, could see him coming and decided to have a go, but the back stepped out and I did a wee bit of rallying

"could see him coming and decided to have a go, but the back stepped out and I did a wee bit of rallying"

& guess who got covered in ****!

Twice!!

Some of the marshalls were quite funny,
first off, I got blue flagged just after overtaking someone, cause he was close behind (cause id just gone passed!) the marshall thought i was holding him up!! wake up man!

Second, when my engine decided to have a rest, im crawling round on the right hand side of track to get back to the pits, with my right indicator on, & the marshall is doing some sort of parade with his blue flag at me, c'mon did he want me to do a dance or something??
