guess you got a bit HIPER there, eh David.

Toby, its what i am thinking i will do! plus the tailpipe comes out 90degrees to the bumper, not 45 like the hiper. Another bit of deception to the average scooby know it all

JGM, I wasn't taking the **** mate, just commenting on a solution that didn't involve a slegde hammer or a tig welder!

Cable ties misappropriated from work today, will go and face the elements some time this evening and push the limits of my feeble DIY skills

I can see that re-reading your post now, but last night after a few sherberts I could just about make out your two identical posts... one of each computer screen...

Good luck..

Well, 2 problems from my efforts so far.

1) can't for the life of me find anywhere to loop it around on either side of the back box

2) it knocks on both sides - so pulling it 1 way will only make it more likely to knock on the other side. I suppose this would reduce my knocking by 50%, but not a great solution I also can't see what the drivers side of the box is knocking against - still feeling ****e so can't be arsed any more. A trip to ATS, as David recommended last night, should see me with some longer hangers

Hugh, wou will need 3 longer hangers, 2 near tailpipe and 1 behind the silencer!

JGM, the above was a comprise for me, and a quick fix to solve it burning my bloody rear bumper! Not happy because it is nowhere near perfect!

I think David summed it up on tuesday night at about 11:45, when i said, "just put the exhaust on, and 4kin leave it, i will sort it out later", David replied, "this is the one car he should not be bodging", too which i said "fork it!!!"

Due to me knowing its not right, and because David and I don not have the strength to bend a 3" bore steel tube, it is not rattling and squeaking on the propshaft guard and the side of the rear diff.

I actually stopped on the way home last night and kicked the 4kin exhaust because it was squeking so much!! Suprisingly it cured it, but for only 4 miles!!

I think that sums it up really!

I will sort it out though!

Not good at all then..

I did not appreciate any of that before..

Sorry my visits are so infrequent hence the length time between my reply.

Hope you manage to sort it.
