SCOOBYNET vs RSOC BBS
as i said it will be in APRIL 2003 and the CENTRAL RSOC REGIONAL DAY which is combined with a RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG also,
get something sorted between your selves, i'll have a word with the guy who is organising the visiting car clubs im 100% sure we can organise a "grudge match"
if you need to get in touch with me use my e-mail addy in my profile, but i will be on here from time to time any how,
you now have plenty of time to sort out your motors
There MAY be something in the way of a small competition prize as well, we'll have to see.
hey richardPon did you come to the central RSOC regional day last year???if you didnt then you missed a cracking day!
next year will be bigger and better

Hiya Steve, yeah I am organising visiting car groups - so if people want a Scoob v RS shoot-out, will bring it up at next meeting and see what can be arranged.
Katana
That will NEVER happen mate!

Katana
Since you got rid of your girly car and got a manly Subaru

Quickest time I've seen for an Escoz is in December 2000 edition of Rev's where they put Hadlands Escoz, his Mondeo & a Fireblade. It did a 9.81 second quarter mile at 110.3mph (that's 0-100 in 7.59).....Not too shabby I think you'll agree!!!!
Just gonna get my knife n fork out to eat my words
Have seen martins car run..... I am only going on what i have seen with my own eyes!! i can listen to everyones views but until i see it with my own eyes then it is all wives tales.

Didnt say that fords cant break 13's just that i havent seen an escort (mkV) run lower than 13.2.... DID say that i had seen a sapphire run a 10, maybe you lot missed that bit
In fact, maybe that is why escorts cant break 13's.. too blind to see the rev counter... oops.. change gear now.... lmao
Big Nige about??? ask him if liked the way i whipped his *** on the strip??
Rob

p.s. i shall be attending the rs day with plenty of turbo seals, just in case ANYONE needs some new ones

You can forget the Focus RS have you seen the new rumoured Fiesta/Fusion AWD 230bhp road car for 15-16K with loads of trick bits on. 140mph and 5 seconds 0-60, if I was Subaru I would be worried
.
Oh and Rob I did try and tell you
.

Yep Rich & Tweenie, 100% correct (well according to Rev's full article anyway) sounds mental I know but it just so happened I had taken that mag into work to show my mate so I had the figures there to hand rather than remembering them.....I could scan the article for you but the mag is at work & I am at home so I could do it till tomorrow or the day after.
Did you think I'd gone all Co55ie on you & started stating random bull**** facts!!???LOL.....However, he is getting things disturbingly correct very often these days!!!

Don't worry.
I have a little video in production from the passenger seat of his car, chasing Mike Rainbird, and Stef (Cosiekiller) all the way to the Nurburgring!
It is the stupidest car I've ever been in, and I want it!

sad but true revs got some of the times wrong! i think the times to 100mph were right though. rich dont forget my copy of the vid, or i will invoice you for half the petrol used whilst you were in the car ( it was lots!)
I was told by one of the competitors that the timing gear was wrongly positioned or something?? The 0-60 runs for example.... The timing beam didnt break until after the start line so the cars were already moving before they broke the timing beam..
Martin, does your car run on Normal fuel??
Lookin forward to next year already...
