Question

Scoobieblue - so how do I get in touch with someone when I only know his name and username? I can't see how to do that! If he's ever posted to ScoobyNet - and provided he's registered his email address in his profile - I'd be in business, but first I have to find one of his posts, and there doesn't seem to be any way to do that!!! If you can tell me where to look, I'll chase one down, otherwise he'll have to post here, in which case please tell him so.

Cool

Tazman - in answer to your question, I've just finished the rough edit (chucking out the dross and separating the takes). I have about 30-40 minutes of usable material, but a lot of it is repetitive - it would be very helpful if any other guys out there were able to contribute material. If nobody else chips in, I may have something basic to show by next weekend. Then we get into the problem of obscuring the number plates - realistically that is gonna add some days to the work, even if it's feasible.

Distribution is gonna be hard - I don't have enough web space for even a low-res vid of 15-20 minutes (100+Mb). If anyone wants to volunteer web space of that order or better, they should send me sufficient info for me to do an FTP upload to their site. Otherwise it'd have to be a CD-or-VHS jobbie, and I guess there'd be at least 70 needed - which would have to mean a charge per copy. At least that would give everyone high-quality (well, VHS excepted I suppose).

Cool

Just a quick thank you to the organisers of the Longleat bash for a terrific day, and to the guy in the P1 who I and the Wales crew just about managed to follow after the main convoy sped off into the distance (Just cos you know the roads a bit better!).

Oh and not forgetting Mike (msp1) for sorting our side of things, Cheers Mike!

PS. Was i the only Sport that turned up in the end??

Regards,
Paul

Softwizz - If you have his user name, log him as a VIP (top right), you can then search for any of his posts and if he has posted, check for his e-mail address from there.

Question

Sue Sidal - I quote from the VIP page :-

"To add a member to your VIP list, click the "ADD TO VIP LIST" link under their name in one of their posts."

Aside from doing this from one of Chrisgarner's posts, how else can I do it???

Might have been that geezer that has a buisness at the top of Parson street. Used to own my old bluey. Have not seen him for a while. Get these P1 Reg's mixed up all the time.
