I'm currently investigating if the single din unit (intended for MY01> ) will fit in a centre gauge pod in my MY99 saloon.(And therefore any Impreza with the original centre oddment box). Looks like I'm going to have to buy one of the Scoobymania pods. About £90!

Thanks to Simon/PCB for the loan of the din box.

The other option may be, to have the same unit on the celing, as some people do with Apexi boxes etc.

Thanks Simon, no email yet but then I did email you back in early November so my messages may have gone astray. I'll re-email the e-thread.

Wiring could be a pain, but perhaps a version to fit in the sunglasses holder?
How about a 'handheld' version for those of us that want a 'stealth' install rather than altering the car?

Sorry to add to the pressure, but is there any idea as to expected date of availability? I am in the market for one of these! (along with most of this board!)

Simon,

Am interested in getting a 1-DIN unit. Will it work with a JDM car? Mine's a MY01 JDM STI type RA.

Cheers!

Quick question about these lovely things. Could I have one of these (MY94 WRX Wagon) instead of a KnockLink and LambaLink? and if so, how would I know if the knock/lambda values being displayed were 'bad'? Obviously no little green thru amber (ok yellow!) to Red LEDs on this chappy, just a bar or value (correct?)

Sorry to be a pain!

Well done PCB - Looks lovely

I want...

Can it be done to fit in a MY99/00 binacle, using the Subaru "instrument pod" ? In that case it would just be a direct replacement for that useless cubby thing on top of my dash

Pre '98 cars we will be sorting out in the new year,

Puff, we are just sorting out a pod mount version for the "classic" shape to be fitted in place of the binacle. YHM

Puff - I'm investigating this option m'self and I think the official Subaru pod may be too small, whereas the Scoobymania version is not only bigger, but a much better match for the rest of the dash.

Like one of these:

The finished article will look stunning. Keep an eye on this, I may get someome to mock-up how it'll look

Squizz.

We will be supplying a pod version for the classic car and it looks most likely we will use a Scoobymania pod ( talking to Mike at present ). It will be supplied as a complete unit with a custom front panel to suit the pod.

The MY99/00 style pod will look a little something like this when supplied by Psi3. Obviously, Simon/Psi3 may alter the finished look slightly, so this is purely a guide.

Keep an eye on this thread or on Scoobynet in general, for news of the website release very soon.
