MK11 Escort (only 1.3 unfortunately)

MK11 Cavalier (I know but it was cheap to run and I was even poorer then than I am now)

Range Rover Classic 3.9 V8 (great exhaust note!)

Impreza Turbo MY98 (current car) I actually saw an improvement in fuel consumption moving to a turbo (15mpg ave in the Range Rover). I bet not many of you did.

I am now 30 and have been driving since I was 17 and have gone through cars like socks:

Vauxhall Chevett

Fiesta Super Sport

Escort MK2 RS 2000 (Got stolen with violence.)

Vauxhall Chevett HSR (Loved that car)

Volkswagon MK1 Golf GTI 1600 (Stolen.)

Vauxhall Astra rally car (Dont know what happened at this point as you think Scoobys are loud inside !!)

Company cars now:

Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6 L

Escort Turbo Diesel LX (Went well.)

Vauxhall Astra 1.7 Diesel Estate (NICE !!)

Escort Diesel (Wrote off when a tree fell on it while doing 60 MPH.)

Vauxhall Cavalier 1800 Expression

Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 LS

Back to cars owned by me now:

Ford Puma 1.7 (Loved this car, drove like a go cart needed more power though.)

MY 98 Subaru Impreza full Prodrive car (God I miss her so much I still cry now !!)

And currently I have just purchased due to the resurrection ( Wifes having a baby due on Christmas day !!) " Drum Roll "

A Volkswagon Bora 1.9 TDI PD SE Sport 130 BHP to give it it's full title and have filled it up once in a month and done over 600 miles !!!

Still miss Scooby though more than I can ever tell the wife.

Darren.

1978 Golf L 1.1 (bright yellow!)

1983 Golf GTI MK1 1.8 - ok handling, good fat torque curve (n/f write off). Better with gas shocks, but a little harsh.

1992 Rover 220 GTI - storming 16v, but don't ask about reliability or handling, even with uprated bushes and Koni gas adjustables.

1997 Subaru Turbo. Understeer as standard, poor brakes and nice accelleration. Better now with bumpsteer geom and 4-pots. Hmm, need that sports back-box!
