drumsterphil - new ssteering wheel looks very nice, but what if you have a squash & no bag? I'd be worried. These things are there for a reason
My driving lights look different to those. Lens is not as clear. They are PIAA as there is a little box fastened inside the bonet, sort of in front of the radiator. Maybe. I'll look again tomorrow!
Do they need aligning like headlights? My left one seems to point more to verge than road.

Nuc' Pond - I think airbags only go off in a (very) small percentage of crashes. TBH, I'm not worried about not having an airbag wheel anymore, I'm more concerned in having a steering wheel that is smaller, and thus easier to user that tells you what the front wheels are doing so clearly - the wheel is the single most important connection a driver has with their car after all.
Trust me, the sacrifice is worth it! The steering is also meatier, requires a bit more effort - these are primarily drivers cars so it suits it well (and, of course, it looks cool! )
I've thought the same thing about my PIAA's as well! (And I thought I was going mad). In real life the lenses are not clear but take a pic and, hey presto, clear lenses! Trust me, your PIAA's are as they are meant to be!
The left should highlight the verge and right should shine straight ahead. You can alter them apparently but I've never figured out how to(luckily they're fine as they are on my car).

Nuc'P. forgot to say that it's pretty hard to find somebody who'll remove an airbag wheel and replace it with a non-airbag wheel.
For much the same reason as you stated these things having an airbag for a reason, my local tuning company were not covered by their public liability insurance to change it in case I was to have an accident and sue them for any resulting injuries (even if I signed a disclaimer saying I understood the risks of having a non-airbag wheel fitted).

Hi lads
Got some time off soon so can really hammer on with this Club/Web-site thing.
Now then this meeting thing, April was the designed month and as for dates i'm sure most would want it on a weekend! Probably a sunday too. We should all meet and then have some food later on in the day after we have posed around the roads a bit .
How about April 6th. Which is first sunday of that month!? We'd all have to come to some arrangement where its to be held and kinda have it in a fair location so some ppl arent driving hundreds and hundreds of miles. Cant do the 5th as its my aniversary :O, not married yet but she would go nuts if i said right then im off to a scooby RB5 meeting LOL! If the 6th is to early then i thought more towards the end of the month, in the late 20's.
RB5 286, could you e-mail me m8, need to have a conversation and some design advice with photoshop etc! Better still get msn and add me as a contact. Online "there and then" advice would be better.

Drumsterphil,
5 windows done - 4 side windows are armor guard - rear window just tinted.
Fantastic job - looks brilliant too - (not blacked out - on the legal limit for front windows)
I was quoted £450 by the next cheapest - couldn't believe what I was hearing when I went to have a blackjax fitted and asked about tinting when I saw the Docs cars......

The 6th is deffo a no no but 13th or 20th is O.K.
Just be sure to get a central venue coz i'll be travelling from the very North of England and i don't want to miss the first meet. Unfortunately my car will probably be "minging" so to speak due to the 'Central' location being MILES from my house
The Web site looks well done Mark (rb5 286)
Sti rear lenses in time for the meet

April 20th it is then! I'll be sure to speak with Mark about the date to make sure it's ok with him as well. I'll also make an announcement in the different location sections of scoobynet so all RB5 owners can be made aware.
