I think alot of MY01 owners are secretly pi$$ed off cos no matter what they say, I think you will find that the general opinion is that this is an improvement over the MY01 styling. I think its the say goodbye to another couple of grand in residual value that hurts the most.....I know if I still had my MY01 I would be peeved. No-one wants yesterdays model when todays is better...

and BTW not to the leave out the classic shape owners.....if you still prefer the MY99 etc over the MY03 then you must be either blind or a retro-junkie

Actually I have the new STI MY03 picture as the wallpaper on my works PC and its been tempting me all day

I honestly think that the classic is the best we've seen to date (IMHO). That's not to say, I wouldn't bite the bullet and buy the MY03. I think they look completely different, and that's the appeal. If you get so used to something, you always want something different.

Emmmm... after three Scoobs (latest MY01) not sure it's enough to tempt me into a fourth! I can't see that another 5 or so BHP (even if they've fiddled with the ECU mapping) will be enough to address the performance issue. Still thinking about that Golf PD150 at the end of the year. Maybe in another two years, there will be something to tempt me again.
I've enjoyed the cars, but time for a change maybe me thinks!

well looks better then the bug eye, BUT
if you drive on the road and meet one of these there is so many things similar to another cars...
for a high performance car the shape is not there -> put it in the same box with executive cars
I'm disappointed, not original, doesn't make you think that it is over 200bhp car
well shame on all car manufactures as they make f@cking boringly looking cars where sky is the limit for imaginative possibility...
good old times where each car looked different......
