FIREWORKS! - Ban 'em i say
Some of my favourite childhood memories of bonfire night...
- My brother and I buying a packet of "screechers" and launching them out of our bedroom window. Unfortunately, one went a little astray and hit next doors house
.
- Planting an airbomb upside down in the lawn and setting it off. Made a v large crater and showered me with mud and grass
- Having one of my friends from Scouts (long time ago
) hurt his had by holding onto a lit crow scarer too long as a gang of us ran down an ally way (OK this it not strictly a firework)
- Launching rockets at a 45 degree angle so they flew over the street. Not sure where they landed...
I agree that these are irresponsible and stupid things to do. But I was young. This year we will have a small (non-noisy) display 'round the in-laws where my daughter will be safely protected behind the patio doors and where her daddy can enjoy himself
Version 1.1 Amended list tag
Version 1.2 Revised list lay out
Version 1.3 Removed list tags as they were not bl**dy working

Banning **** is out of the question - even though you could have someones eye out in some cases
BUT
If we are gonuig to ban **** then perhaps pert butts should be on the list as well, these cause untold 'car'nage on the road

OK, don't ban them.just kick the living cr&p out of ANYBODY abusing them, whatever age.
And the same penalty for the pr1ks that sell them to the little ***** that abuse them.
Oh, and they should only be available for 1 week before bonfire night and one week after, except to licensed displays.
Sorry, but I have a real issue with the huge number of dogs/cats/wildlife that have to live in fear for 2 months every year just so us humans can have a laugh......
