I would just like to say to those who did vote for this government - SERVES YOU RIGHT

Tis the nature of democracy that the majority tyrannise the minority...

JD[/quote]

Surely that should read Tis the nature of democracy that the minority tyrannise the majority.... Since the majority didnt vote for Blair - they couldnt be bothered to vote for anyone !

I'm just concerned that it's going to be harder to enjoy the Scoob when they have reduced all the speed limits by 10-20mph, and reduced all the tolerances to 5%.
This is planned in the future.
Voting NO now is important as we need to stop this crusade against the car driver.
(Oh hang on........were you winding us up??...doh!!!!!)

Thumbs down

Just voted. 69.76% from 10,123.

Who's gonna make it 70%?

Hope the peeps at the beeb don't look at this site though ...

Edited to add this:
"This is not a representative sample and the figures do not necessarily reflect public opinion." - Quote at end of vote - how many motoring groups would use that little nugget.

Come on guys - you can also enter your comments and if enough of us send emails some may get printed on the web site. Don't know if it will have any impact on some of the people posting their opinions - sounds as if many of them don't actually have to use their cars for essential transport - just weekend drivers I suspect although in politically correct speak I must of course say that they are also fully entitled to their opinion.
I personally support cameras in dangerous areas - I would just like intelligent speed control with variable limits on motorways and major roads so we can at least travel at above 70mph at night on open motorways !!
