Would there be any chance of having the following in the next 2 weeks?:

335mm Discs with Mintex pads + Braided hoses + 5.1 Fluid
(I have 17" Superleggeras on MY99)

If so I would be very interested. My current EBC set up is so bad that the car is dangerous to drive. I also need to tie this in with my next service - would a local Subaru dealer be able to carry out the fitting (including spacer set up) without taking hours and charging me the Subaru going rate?

I know that my timescale may be unrealistic and I wasn't planning on spending this much but the kit seem very good. My immediate alternative would be the TSL set up.

Cheers

Jonty

I've sent an email to ian. If it will fit (308mm, calipers and pads) and can be sourced quickly then I'm in.

Which pads are recommended? No track use intended

Question

I was thinking of the 308mm four pot kit at £525

I assume from the above posting they fit under 16" wheels, one question I'd like to ask is what material are the calipers made off (thinking of heat disipation and chances of brake fade)

Ian, i'll do a bank transfer on Monday as you've previously suggested. Let me know if 45 UKP (as in your previous mail) is adequate for shipping to Greece.

Regards,

George
P.S, i'll drop you a mail with my shipping info.

Unhappy

Godammit - why do I always find these things too late

I'm after a the rear big brake conversion for my P1 to complement my Alcons on the front. Has the boat sailed on this one or is there still a chance of a discount on this kit (usually £365 odd I think)???

Gaz.

Previously mailed you direct but to confirm order I'll be going for the 325mm four pot kit. Blue callipers required with mintex pads. Drilled and grooved discs with hoses and 2 litres of 5.1 fluid.

Ian, as you suggested I will measure the distance between the disc and the spoke tonight and post you a picture of my alloy. You will recall you thought there may be an extra charge of £50.00 due to the problems fitting the callipers behind the Speedline alloys.

Rob RLE, I believe your number 10 m8, still waiting for odd confirmations, odd people can keep joining though as i'm sure Godney won't knock them back!!

Hugh, i said £60 for hoses+fluid, you need two litres of 5.1 thus £70....oops

I'd like to join if it isn't too late. I've not been around for a while, but I've spoken with Ian regarding this kit in the past. Ian, is it too late?

Yup Gaz, I've sent a cheque for £605 this evening (incl. £70 for hoses fluid). Only query is the mintex pads - I've heard they are are not necessarily up to much, but considering I will only be using them for fast road and not track, are they really that bad?
