Injector update
Injectors will be going out with new o-rings as standard, included in original price as I have negotiated a better deal on the cleaning etc.
The injectors I have have come up really well, good as new.
No figures on actual flow, but I do know they are matched, will phone for approx figures tomorrow, curious to know what they flow in general, +/- from the 550 quoted.

Okay, someone screwed up, a combination of various things I think.
Anyway, I have emailed all concerned.
Situation current seems to be that it may be possible to fit these into phase 1 rails with sleeve adaptors for the o-rings. This means that some people with phase 2 rails may want to fit phase 1 rails, depending on how desperate they are etc.
So anyway, money back for most people I should think, P20SPD's car may yet be okay depending what I sort out.

Okay, I am confident I can sort this out in a timely manner.
I have a company ready to machine the parts, so they should be ready in a couple of days from placement of order. My main concern now is to get parts to measure etc. However Bob Rawle has been great so far in getting me decent measurements of injectors.

) and I have phase 1 rails??

David, I'm concerntrating on the phase 2 rails because that's what everyone was expecting them to fit.
I think I can do a similar trick with phase 1 rails, but it might be just as easy to swap to phase 2 rails.
Don't worry about the sizes just yet, as bob has been very helpful.

Okay, i have just bought a phase 2 manifold, fuel rails, injectors and throttle body for £100+ vat.
Should get it tomorrow, and then will have no problems ensuring these injectors fit. And I'll probably get some phase 2 heads a bit later, and have the high inlet manifold for front entry TD05.

Manifold received, fuel rails measured etc.
Designed part required to make them fit, will get 4 made tomorrow to test, and buy o-rings to match.
Slight mod required to injectors to allow use of retainer in un-modified form, and the connectors fit the wrong way up, so removed the side polarising bits and they fit fine, work both ways (electrically) round anyway.
No problems invisaged, ETA early next week.
those concerned have mail.

Play on words, which you will get more easily if reading the Hobbit or Lord of the rings trilogy.
Put notepad drawing into machine shop today, they are gonna push and make 4 collars for me to test, if all goes well (which it WILL) I will send these to steve probably, while he rest get made monday tuesday, bloody weekend!
Am being sent 2 new injectors to replace the 2 dead ones (rusted internally).
Will set about modding injectors tomorrow, and order o-rings (next day delivery on those)
Will burn some eproms and finish CV tonight.
There just aren't enough hours in the day!

O-rings ordered, they work out at about 5pence per injector!
I can also get orings for regular phase 2 injectors for pennies each, will have loads of the small ones spare.
Should have 4 collars tomorrow, so can test 4 injectors for pressure on the weekend.

Sorted!
I now have the (all the) adapters, o-rings ready to test just waiting on rest of spacers, and I will get some screws too, as they need to be 6mm longer than those in place.
So the injectors will come supplied as:
4 injectors, 4 adapters, 12 o-rings, 8 M5 screws, 8 M5 washers.
I will grease all the orings so they will be ready to fit straight in.
Will post a picture of assembled fuel rail tonight.

Apologies for the grease and sawdust effect btw, the rest (the other 51 of them....) are clean.
Will send yours tomorrow steve, after I pick upp the remaining bits tonight.
Others are still at the cleaners awaiting some replacement injectors for 2 duff ones (rusted) that I am sending today.
