if your budget is £2000 then think again... unless you are doing it yourself, labour costs would be that alone..
I would guess the above would be circa £7000 for Parts only..

Just a ballpark finger in the air costing on the parts alone your looking at:
FMIC = 1000
Induction = 150
Turbo = 1200
Exhaust from Turbo back = 750 (HKS/Scoobysport)
Exhaust Manifold = 850 (HKS) or 300 ported standard with an upipe
ECU = 1500+ mapped
Water Injection = 500 (with a tank)
Injectors = 300 - 600
Other bits and bobs = 500 or so
Your looking at at least 1k's worth of labour to fit these toys...if you know someone
So 8k plus as a starting point all for 350 brake or so...oh and if you want more your going to have to start going internal so theres another 10k down the pan

You know, I always underestimate these things or forget a few vital bits...no wonder I've been charged for going past my overdraft limit in the middle of the month
I don't even want to think about how much I've speant now

lol. Thats uhm rather a lot. Obviously i dont believe for one minute that someone just went out and got all these objects at the same time.
Its a long term thing with 450 horse end result. I have a friend who does work for the WRC team and Prodrive so it should be ok. Pectel Management is the first thing i have on my long long list of mods. Then Brakes, then turbo, then fmic, then engine internals. Lots of money but as i said spread out it doesn't look so bad. I've been told that the figure i'm after is acheivable but needs proper funding. /me raids piggybank!
Pectel systems anygood then lads?

IIRC the Pectal is a serious bit of kit, but would blow your £200 budget and then some in one easy go.
NOTE
I AM NOT DOING ANYMORE THINGS TO MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe, someone's loaded!
You have that nice colour too, Deep red Mica is it?
Yeah i know its serious and i know that for 2500 quid i only get one item. But its the basis of my stealth project. No exterior mods to be done to the bodywork or to anything else. Just springs/shocks and brakes to the outside. Under the bonnet i want what i said above basically. Aim is for 450 horse, by this time next year i should be well on the way to acheiving it.
Just need to ring him back now and book it in for the Pectel! /me gets off puter and runs for phone
A one stop shop is what i want for the project and i know that my main man can do it. Expensive but hey, you only get what you pay for, am i right?

I wouldnt say loaded just daft and used some of savings for doing the house up.
Mine with the above spec will probably achieve 330 to 350.
For 450bhp then it becomes silly money.
Dont forget i have done all the physical changing of the parts etc with the help of David Wallis. Bob Rawle did the mapping of the link ecu, and thats it.
That represents a shed load of money saved IMHO.

BTTT, P20 where was the thread where Bob Rawle said about how to get rid of the APS knock - you had to move the engine over something that was in the way - but we can't see what is stopping it moving far enough, but releasing the mounts it won't move far enough to stop the knock.

John.. They said undo the two mountings and then shove it across, but I dont think it will move that much..
I tig welded a new ally bracket to the pipe and then cable tied it out of the way... there is also cable ties around this bracket and a cable tie from the strut brace to the pipe.
Steven cant comment as he's at the rally.

I cable tied near to the wobbly end of that very poorly designed black metal pipe to stabilise it, and it seems to work for now.
Was carefully looking for chafing of the silicone pipes whilst I was there. All seemed OK apart from some superficial smoothing of some surfaces - will need to keep an eye on them and see if they progress. At least the sharp areas are out of the way.
Most of the jubilee clips looked OK on mine.
