Thoughts to date:
Runs very smoothly on cruise, boost seems to kick in about 200 rpm higher up, but when it kicks in it seems to kick in with a bigger kick (almost like my memories of a TD05 not a TD04!)
Put your foot down from say 70 and you are off, its almost like having the TEK2 back!
A bit jerky when you lift off sometimes, but that could be the dump valve not being set right. Working on that one, when Jamie tells me which way to adjust it.
Just found out what is causing the rattle which has reappeared. The metal pipe has no thread in it for the bolt to tighten it to the bracket, therefore merely feeilng tight due to gravity and weight. Looks like i will have to buy a tap and die set and sort that.
Other than that, i am impressed, and the stealth look really works

I reakon there are cheaper ways.
There's always a bloke down the pub that can fix it. That's the trouble these days, it can be done for a few 100 quid, but where's the quality? Used to be a skilled inductry, but now there are too many cowboys.
There must be a better gate solution. Alternatively , make the path so that he can get walking access, but can't actually do anything useful.

P20 I have been alerted to some issues with silicon hose erosion on the APS kit which I am attending to.
One is quite obvious - the fake grilles on the bonnet - the most rearward bolt on the offside one has already marked the silicon after only two days so I have cut it short and filed it.
More awkward are the two black hoses from the intercooler itself. Just a few inches after the intercooler-hose junctions, above the pipe is a free edge of painted metal which erodes the top of the black hoses. It bends 90 degrees to a bracket. It is best seen looking from above pretty much vertical from the bumper bolts. Let me know what you find... it has been suggested that I chop this off from a user whose hose had been eroded right through in this area after a few months.
The OEM DV is way smoother and I have gone back to it.

IMHO...
The APS Kit is sh1te... The hoses have insufficient support... the intercooler bolts arent long enough... the pipe that goes past the headers is a **** to fit and knocks.. The pipes rub on the bonnet... Oh and the instructions are a parts list and a few crap pics.. and dont even get me started on the templates..
Paying that sort of money, I would expect better..
All my opinion... however it does what it says on the tin..

John, thanks very much, i have been checking the hoses regularly. Done approx 400 miles since it was fitted. No chaffing apparent appart from a little scratch where the drivers bonnet vent is. Considered chopping it at the time, but could not be bothered lifting the bonnet again at the time, lazy i know.
Will check the ones from the intercooler, although i did spend alot of time checking for possible chaffing. If you mean the where the pipe touches the bumper frame just behind the intercooler but in front of the bumper, then i made sure the jubilee clips touched the metal and not the hose. Will check behind either tomorrow night or at the weekend. I will keep you posted. Let me know if you come accross anything else.

Dont take this the wrong way, especially Jamie.
The kit does do what it says on the tin, which is great.
My problem is i think for the money, the quality could be better. You only have to look at the silicone hose that goes from the turbo down to the metal pipe near the headers. That must be 1.5m long, and has no f'ing support whatsover, other than my cable tie approach. That would possibly be fine, except for the metal pipe only being secured by one bolt, thus giving some sort of movement.
John try waggling this pipe and see if you get a knocking noise, i could have been unlucky and got a poor metal pipe.
IMHO there are too many places that are unsupported, not enough info in the "pictures", doesnt even tell you that you will have to leave your alarm sensor dangling, or try and extend the wires somehow.
When you pay this sort of money you DO expect the best, gues my standards are too high.
Just to re itterate, i am happy with the results: except for the knocking
