Hi guys,
Have been tracking this thread since its beginnings and am surprised that such a splendid motor aint found a new home yet!!
Anyway, just wanted to add my thoughts.
I smashed my RB5 WRSport up 3 weeks ago and have today heard that it is a write off and i am being offered £15600 for it so you can draw your own conclusions as to whether this is a bargain or not!
Hope someone picks it up soon

its a real dogs bollox RB5, and MORE - its the WR Sprt version with official Prodrive PPP pack. Even more limited editon status.

Ive been in it and it goes and stops like billy ho. If I had the money I would have bought it - it makes my my96 feel like a fiat panda!!!

I have considered purchasing a scoob again and have thought of another RB5 but somehow i just keep getting drawn to its sonic blue coloured bigger brother! These things are now going for the same price that i paid for my RB5 back in FEB ( £20K ) and hopefully i should get the difference in money made up by another form of insurance i took out, so P1 here i come!!
I have to go down the scooby road again as i have a set of TSLs 6 pots still in the box sitting at a mates. They were going to go the RB5 2 days after my smash!!

None of the mags came up with anything usefull.

I had a load of people say they were interested but I'm guessung the insurance did them as the last thing that 90% of them were doing was getting a quote.

Never heard from them after that

So I'm not really trying to sell it anymore, if it happens then it happens.

If it doesn't happen then decat downpipe here I come, i also think I'll do a track day or 2

the insurance for me was only 150 more for fully comp than my my96 4 door, and I used all the correct details...

Was it all 18 year olds coming to look at it that all lived in Tehran ?

I only ask in a getting-it-back-to-the-top sort of way

Anyway, get it modded - Matts car is MUCH faster
