It is a FULL opriginal RB5WRSPORT with certificate and interior and hose and spoiler and dials and everything FFS.

OK this is rediculous Not one person has come to even look at it.

My adds in the mags have expired and I'm loathed to renew seeing as they did F*CK ALL

Thanks for all your support guys I really do appreciate it but it would appear that the market is dead.

I'll sell the car for £13,750. no offers no Px's just the cash.

Sunshine V11 you must be on a wind up
The RB5's are only in Grey ( steel blue) ( blue on log book ) Not silver.
You have a Uk car with all the Prodrive options I suspect. Something completly different.
Aside from the Piaa's, alcantara interior, aircon and nice 17" wheels ,a RB5 Wr Sport has WR Sport on the Tacho ( babbers does he's just a bit confused ) The PPP engine upgrade/ pipes / exhaust and a bigger rear spoiler.

Great cars, RB170 surprised you haven't sold.
Maybe you'll have to keep reducing the price

Sunshine - what you have is a UK Impreza turbo WR Sport. But the car advertised here is an RB5 WR Sport. 2 different things. The RB5 could be bought with or without the WR package, consisting of engine upgrade, rear wing, retrimmed interior, Speedline alloys, WR Sport decal on tacho. Only available in Blue Steel.

On the other hand, any UK Impreza could be fitted with any of the Prodrive options - engine, suspension, interior etc. If you went the whole hog and had all the Prodrive options fitted then you ended up with the WR Sport. Very rare, as you say, and very expensive.

So, just in case any potential purchasers of the RB5 read this, the car advertised here is the genuine article. No question. It is also a total bargain. Very pi55ed off as I bought mine 3 months ago for nearly £3k more. But fortunately I love the car to bits so never mind.

Best of luck with the sale Mike. Looks like people dont know a great buy when they see one.

I cannot believe this car has not sold for a give away price, someone must want to get into one of the best sports cars around.

Come on guys and girls either you want a **** hot motor or not.

Never met the seller no commission paid to me either, but FFS what else can you get for this price with performance etc.

If I was not out of Scoobies and into Skylines I'd buy it myself.

Actually what sunshine says is quite true and you lot ar egetting mixed up . The RB5 there was a WRSport version but didnt have all the possible prodrive packs at the time fitted. For example, there was a prodrive pack containing suspension upgrades but as we all know the RB5 WRS had standard suspension. Cant remember all the packs and contents but there were a few, interior, exterior, performance, handling (call driver something or other)....

Most people had the PPP and called it a Prodrive car but for the full car all the packs cost about 10K in total.

The ST170 does have a fine chassis and steering, but its so bloody slow. It doesn't feel like it has 170bhp, or can do 0-60 in 7.9. Gearchange was cack as well, really stiff.

ok, on impreza turbo 4 door & 5 doors MY99-00

complete package on base model:

Performance package
Driving enhancement package
Interior package
Exterior package
Exclusive WR and Prodrive badging

this was fitted by prodrive taking 12hrs fitting and 16hrs bodyshop costs, a saving of £275 over individual fitted packages!!!

Note: Prices are quoted in addition to the cost of the base car.
The aim is to present the "Impreza WR by Prodrive" as a model in itís own right, although Type
Approval laws dictate that the additional items have to be fitted subsequent to purchase of a
registered car.
The advantages of presenting the package as a discrete model in the range include:
- Clearer identity of the car
- Recognition of the engineering behind the packages (not just bolt-on extras)
- Higher resale values
- Value for money

Performance package:
- uprated ECU (torque boosted by 20% and extends across a wider rev range - bhp increase to 240bhp and torque to 350Nm @ 3,500 rpm instead of 290Nm at 4,000 rpm)
- uprated i/c piping
- stainless steel performance centre pipe and rear box
- certificate of fitment to enhance resale values (components cannot be bought separately)

Driving Enhancement Package
KEY FEATURES
- Prodrive / Eibach uprated
suspension kit with
Bilstein dampers and
Eibach springs
- 17î premium alloy wheels in gold or silver with Pirelli P-Zero tyres
- Quickshift gearchange
- Includes recommended fitting time of 6 hours by Prodrive.

The Impreza Driving Enhancement Package combines a variety of enhancements to improve traction, feedback
and control, especially suited to the more sporting driver.
Premium quality 17î alloy wheels are matched to Pirelli P-Zero tyres, which have shown in both track and road testing to
offer high levels of grip and predictability combined with an even wear rate, whilst not compromising ride comfort.
Wheel offsets have been carefully selected to maximise the carís famous handling characteristics without introducing undesirable
traits such as steering kickback, torque steer and tramlining.
The wheels and tyres are matched to upgraded suspension comprising Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs manufactured to
Prodrive specifications, tailored specifically for typical UK driving conditions. These increase the dynamic ability of the
vehicle without seriously affecting comfort levels; bump absorption remains effective whilst roll and pitch resistance is
increased, offering flatter cornering and less float. A tightening of the geometry tolerances further enhances handling
balance and steering feel.
Finally, shift quality is improved through the fitment of a quickshift mechanism which reduces the lever throw without
suffering a dramatic increase in weight.
All of the components of the Driving Enhancement Package are available for sale individually, but the true benefits of the
upgrade will only be fully realised when all are allowed to work in conjunction with each other.

Interior Package
The Impreza Interior Package offers an ideal upgrade to those drivers wishing to enhance the appeal of the
interior of their car while benefitting from a real improvement in comfort and support.
The superbly engineered Recaro ëSportí front seats offer unrivalled location during spirited driving, yet are one of only a
handful of seat designs worlwide to be awarded prestigious approval by the Federation of German Spinal Health Institutes
and the Association for Healthier Backs - Better Living.
Featuring pronounced shoulder support and backrest side bolsters, steplessly adjustable recline, airmatic lumbar support,
electrical seat height and tilt adjustment (with a greater range than the OE seat) and an extendable seat cushion, these
seats will leave any driver feeling refreshed after a long journey.

The four door trims and the rear seats are then retrimmed in matching black Artista fabric, blending them seamlessly with
the new front seats and lifting the ambience of the whole cabin.
A choice of carbon-effect or silver aluminium gearknob is fitted and the whole package finished off with tailored, Prodrive
monogrammed, luxury carpet mats.

KEY FEATURES
- Prodrive Recaro ëSportí front seats in black Artista fabric
- Door trims and rear seats covered in matching Recaro cloth
- Aluminium or carbon gear ****
- Tailored carpet mat set with Prodrive embroidery
- Includes fitting by prodrive (3 hours) and retrimming

Exterior Package
The Impreza Exterior Package extends the visual appeal of the car through a carefully considered blend of
replacement and modified parts.
The Prodrive WRC replica rear spoiler (4-door cars only) is styled to mimic the wing fitted to the Impreza World Rally Cars,
but has dimensions to suit the narrower body of the road car. An integral high-level brake light is also fitted.

Five-door cars benefit from a more pronounced pair of spoilers fitted to the rear tailgate in place of the original units.
The spoiler(s), door mirrors and sill extensions are all then painted to match the bodywork of the car, while the front
bumper inserts are painted black.

The package is completed by the fitment of rally-derived, 120W high intensity performance driving lights in place of the
standard fog lamps, to improve night-time driving safety. Protective lamp covers are also provided.

KEY FEATURES
- Prodrive WRC replica rear spoiler with brake light
- Upper and lower spoilers (5dr)
- High intensity driving light conversion
- Body-coloured sill extensions and door mirrors with black bumper
accents
- Includes recommended fitting time of 2 hours by Prodrive and 16 hours bodyshop
