Cool

Loewe Articos (32", 100Hz), very pleased with it, picture is amazing and the set looks pretty smart too.

Sony 28" Wega

Not the cheapest but very pleased with it. Wish I'd saved a bit more and got the 32"

Panasonic Tau 36" 100 Hz W/S

Awesome for split screen racing on the PS2

Cant fault it, it was a toss up between this and the Sony Wega, the Panasonic has better quality picture IMHO the whites are a lot sharper, Also agree with Pete, at 120 Kgs with the stand its a heavy B@stard, not the sort of thing your average burglar can run down the street with!!

Wharfdale 28'' - Tescos finest
Sony VPL-CS10 true widescreen projector

If you're in the telly market, those Loewe things are the business.

Cool

JVC 32" dual tuner. Cost - £0 Won it in a competition in the run up to the last world cup 4.5 years ago. About £2,000s worth at the time.

Top TV - still going strong but will replace with a Plasma when it dies.

Moved home recently to a flat on the 3rd floor - this TV weighs a ton and I can hardly move it - removal guy looks at it, says 'thats a biggun', and proceeds to throw it up onto his shoulder and walk out the room and down the stairs with it! Unbelievable.

Paul,

Had several items from Empire and everything has been fine.

You may want to have a look at Hi Spek .

They are doing some good deals at the moment. I think the 28" Wega is about £40 dearer than Empire but Hi Spek were offering free 5 Year insurance that covers breakdown and accidental damage, next day engineer to you door and a new set if its uneconomical to repair.
My mother had my old 41" 4x3 Sony RP, after 3 years it blew up, Hi Spek replaced it with a 43" Toshiba, no hassle.
