MY01 Wagon, Deep Blue. APS Stage 1 kit (for those who don't know, bigger TMIC, 2.5" exhaust, water spray, Unichip, K & N airfilter and dyno tuned, getting 134kw at the wheels). Goes like a rocket. Extreeeemely happy with it.

Silver MY01
25/26 MPG average over 5 months.
SS driving lights (a must up here in winter)
Side bump strips (another must).
Upgraded ICE.
Tracking device.
Agree with most comments. Ride/handling good. Steering a little light in centre but weights up much better than old model when cornering.
Build quality much improved (though I would agree that paint work appears to chip easily).
Takes best part of 10k miles to loosen up!
Would I buy another????
Answer NO. Not unless they address the following:-
- Lower the car at least 20/25mm
- Better looking headlights
- Better standard rear spoiler.
- Another 25/30 BHP as "standard fit". So 2 speak.
This is my third Scoob and I hope someone from Subaru is listening! Because sales are going down the toilet next year if the car is not given the "edge" back.
Only my thoughts.....
I enjoy rhe car but it's just not got that "certain something" these days. Think most of my points could quite easily be addressed at little cost to Subaru. So fingers crossed...
Enjoy....

DBM 4 door arriving on 1st September.
Clear indicators and reflectors, side vents and Scoobysport rear spoiler.
Also been offered free lowered springs by a company that would want to use my original springs for the MY01 development work.
Scoobysport or Scorpion back box after it's run in and some sort of big brake set up in the new year for track days.

Silver MY01
Clear reflectors and indicators
Side grill bits
Bell 550 radar 'tector
Navtrac tomorrow
Thats it so far, would like to add PPP, quickshift and Brembo's in that order. Not sure about the Morretes yet.
Plus ther's a limit to how much you can syphon out the household budget before someone notices . The "it's only £50 quid" line has a limited shelf life.
