alex,

it was actually £210 but they boke a bit of plastic on the door handle in the back (tiny bit of plastic that you cant see and subaru want about £2 for- i havent even bothered replacing it! anyway they knocked £10 off without me saying anything)

all in all it was an excellent job, excellent service and decent people (if they'd not mentioned the plastic i'd never have known) and saved me £200-300.

tiggs

ps- the plastic was an accident that could have happened to anyone so dont let this put anyone off using these guys!!!!

A guy in Northampton did tints on my Corsa van (with rear windows - don't ask) and only charged £150+VAT. I think his retail price is a bit more, but still good value.

Top quality job, he came and collected the car lunchtime, and dropped it back in the evening.

Pentagon might be good, but hardly worth up to 3 times the price.

There's a guy in east London two mins of the M2 who has done three cars for me all good jobs and not at stupid price's let me know if your interested and ill look for his number. I think I found it in exchange and mart. pentagon price's were outrageous at the time have they changed. Nice mirrors on the black WRX what model is it

DT,
no problem.

just a note to those about to get it done- when i had mine done you could see (both from in and outside the car) what looked like streaks between the film and the glass.

in fact it looked like youd expect a halfords type DIY job would look- not bad but bad enough for me to think i should ask if this was normal.

anyway i checked with someone (sorry, forgot who you were) that had used these guys to see if they were happy. they were so i decided i was being fussy and left it.

3-4 days latter the film "dried" out and the streaks vanished- it then, and still does, look superb.

wouldnt want someone to complain about streaking before giving it a few days to settle.

Tiggs

ps- if this only happened to me and no one else has experienced it then maybe you should ignore everything!

One of my rear tints got smashed - kid with a stone in his hand type accident - adds an extra twig when it comes to claiming, not that I'm pissed or anything

Alex - James from Secur-Fix did our tints today, excellent job - thanks for the intro - I owe you a beer when we meet next time (and they must owe you some commission )

Makes the blue/black MY01 look like a gangsta-mobile LOL

Ok it's like this. We need a dry enough day to wash and polish the cars, take the pics, find some webspace cos Photopoint closed our account, and post them up. Planning to do it by Friday latest...
