Count me in as a spectator. The car's just too limp to run at the moment. If I come back from this wanting more power, someone's taking the blame .
Sounds like an excellent turnout is planned!

Must be mi eyes playing with mi then at my age,not as good as they used to be....
Course you got to be an old git to afford the insurance on these things - when I was a young lad I remember paying £2200 one year for a modified Cossie - yeah, I know, pretty cheap.....
Hopefully will be there, in my mildly modded car..... its great telling people the cars std apart from an exhaust and filter, especially if its a Kev boy racer..............
I love those people who ask me ''is it a real one mate, or replica'. ''does it have a turbo mate'' - course this is just at the Subaru dealership...........

They have me in stitches too when people ask questions as well. One i get often is "You got the WRX(nope UKMY00) great, my mate has one, his does not have the twin turbos though!"
WTF do they read.
Yoof of today, eh!

Hi Chiark,
Glad to have you along. Turnout at these things is usually great and the good news is that the cars just keep getting more and more powerful.
P20,
Know what you mean! The best one is
"Is yours an STi?",
"no it's a UK"
"oh they are dead slow"
"what even with over 330 brake you chimp!"

P20,
I did up until recently. Having an AP one fitted at the mo, just waiting on the lightened flywheel.
Standard clutch was surprisingly ok to say I'd whacked over 300 brake through it for sometime. I never do full bore standing starts in first though, always get rolling first then nail it, so that's probably why.
If I'd been a hooligan I'd have probably destroyed it.
