We had to get up at 8:30am to get the loungers by the pool - nightmare

You will have no problem getting **** anywhere

Up one of the hills in PDC there is a large market called Bazar Charro - they sell everything you cant get here - ****, videos, DVD's, swords, throwing stars, guns, bb guns, ball and chains!!!!, double edged fantasy swords, stuffed turantulas, scorpions etc.

I would really like to see someone get that lot through customs. They even sold blank firing replica AK47's!!!!!!

i was well chuffed at our place because;

a. there were only 38 apts
b. the pool didn't open until 10:00

Right the town to watch out for is Haria (scumbag city) but you may go there because it's next to a the highest mountain (great views) and has a wicked snakey mountain road to go blasting up and down.

The beach that's really good is in Playa Blanca where I stayed. It's called Papa Gaya IIRC and some sections are naturist if you're into that type of thing. It can be tricky to find though as it isn't signposted!

Timanfaya is worth doing but buy your ticket at the gate 'cos it's cheapest that way and you get the coach trip around the volcanoes thrown in too. Jameos Del Agua is a must see IMHO as well.
