Hi,
Ive got an MY95 WRX with cat back exhaust and filter running around 11-12psi and i got 261bhp which seems about right...
Some figures seemed a little strange... (sorry cant remember your name) a version 6 wrx type RA made nearly 200bhp at the wheels but only made 258 at the fly...??? mine made 180 at the wheels but got 261 at the fly..?? what would the difference be in transmision losses..??
Dan

hmmm, if the figures are 15 to 20 bhp out, that puts my MY00 with backbox at 225 - 230 bhp. I got 210 on the day but I had probs so it was down a bit but I think 225 would be too high. But I won't complain
Cheers Scooberators for organising the day

Dan that V6 type RA is mine mate I am a bit puzzled so I ask the question in "technical". It made 258.5bhp but 195bhp at the wheels .
Heres my graph
and
Thread in technical forum
I know the RA are suppose to have less transmission loses but also my boost was lower on the RR as the guy said it didnt go above 1.0bar in 4th and we had 1.2bar on the way home . Maybe something to do with the gearing 103mph@7600 rpm from the graph

Thanks lads no problem.
Its a meet and some action all in one ohh and £35.
I was thinking of organising John Nobles RR-Day 3 in febuary like i did earlier in the year.Nice and cold and an excuse to get the old Subaru heavyweight jacket on.
It was a shame that the figures looked like they were out but the 1st session i organised seemed to be spot on but it is a good bench mark for you to try your car again with those little mods that we all keep getting.
Dont e-mail me yet to put yourself on the list,im not going to sort it out until after christmas but watch this space
