Mine's blue as well (think there'll be one or two blue ones there - it's a popular choice)
I'll probably be one of the slower cars as a) mine's unmodified and b) I still consider myself a bit of a novice at this trackday thing (only done one before).

 

I didn't know blue was that popular, I haven't seen too many near where I live. My car is new, what would I need to do to modify it? Surely it can't go much faster than it does now, its brilliant! Mellow Yellow hasn't replied to my note yet, do you know if he has a modified car? Why does that guy want me to pass him?

 

That bloke Barry StiR, who wants you to pass Mellow, is a well known trouble maker who regularly talks borrox. If I was you I'd forget about passing Mellow, he'll be checking his BHP/Torque readings/ adjusting his DEFI woggles all around the circuit and so would be easy meat to a great driver in a decent car like yours (or a P1). If I was you I'd have a go at some of the lightweight Skylines or R500's etc...

 

Hi there Fat Boy, my car isn't a P1 but a WRX.(well fast I can tell you). Skylines as well, its not really a subaru day is it if they let R500 motorbikes on as well.But if you want we can see if they can all keep up. Are you suggesting Mellow Yellow doesn't go that fast then? Who's is the car to pass, is it Steph then(is that a male or female by the way?) what colour is his car?

Hi muddy, I find it funny as well that most of the guys on here are scared to go on a race track without any help. Its like a big open road with big corners, it can't get any easier can it. Put your foot down and get past anything in front of you - you can't go wrong.

Hello gregh, I have a brand new WRX in rally car blue, you'll know which ones me when those red lights change as my car is so fast I'll be the one that gets to the fisrt corner in front of everyone else. If you aren't near me a t the start line I'll give you a flash as I overtake you. What car do you have? I've just got the car so don't have any pictures yet - but wait until you see it foor real.I am booked on track all day (but not the new people sessions). Will there be any refreshments there if I come off the track about 11 ish for a coffee and scone?

I hope its a Subaru, because I saw a silver evo V1 last light on the way home and pulled up next to him at the traffic lights. When the lights changed I let my new baby fly, there was no way he was going to keep up with me. After only a short while he was miles behind.I do hope they dont park one in front of me on the grid.

It will be ace won't it, all dashing for the first corner at once. I hope non of the motorbikers fall off on the first corner, that'd slow us all a bit wouldn't it. How long before the start do we have to be on the grid? Is is first come first served, I may not be there until 9am?
The bikes may get off the mark a little quicker than me, but once my new baby gets moving it goes round corners like its on rails. An R500 will run out of power at higher speeds, whereas my WRX will go right past 140 mph !

 

You'd never guess it TF but my car is rally car blue as well. Amazing isn't it?

My car is a P1gly WR (half P1, half fugly bugly and eleventeen % Moskvich)and would p*** all over yours, if I was going. However, I wouldn't want to spoil your day so I'm going to stay at home and finish off my model of Nelson's victory made out of toothpicks.

PS A defi Woggle is connected to the bright switch and is used to give a real time display (as well as peaks) of electro magnetic radiation from any passing spacecraft. Hope that helps.

Hello Fat Boy, As I said before, my car is a brand new one. If you have a P1 (which I doubt as they are very rare) thats one of the old models and wouldn't keep up with mine. The radiation and spacecraft bit is funny though. I notice you say you would be faster, but aren't even going - say no more.

I have paid a lot of money for my car and now you may spoil my fun getting in the way? I think someone is having you on saying an evo will do 286mph and 0-100 in 2.4 seconds. Not even an F1 car will do that.The evo at the traffic lights last night certainly couldn't.

gossythevaleter, there are loads of other cars and bikes on the race track, and hearses normaly have quite big engines, you should be OK. Some of the people going seem nervous as well, so you will probably get past most of them. Silver, great colour. See you there

Well...I will be so much faster through those F1 chichanes, I have some new tyres that really go well. I also have some pads that I bought from ATS this morning that I am told will allow me to stop a lot later than anyone.

What about this booster that you can get ? is it a cushion to sit on to make you drive firmer ?

When I beat everyone in my cosworth no one liked it because I was a really good driver and that was rear wheel driven, now with 4 wheel drive it seems that no one can even come close.

Mellow, I dont think any of the evo's will be a problem, ive been told that you are ok against them so not meaning to be rude I think I will be lapping them as well.
