hmm yes there is a plastic clip, but that would have tied up with the centre of the flap.
I fixed the small angle bracket to the end of the flap bracket and after fitting flap bracket temporarally I marked where the small bracket would mount to the inner wing then drilled a hole there and fixed it.
Seems to be fine, I did look into using the area that the clip was in but to me it was in the wrong area to get a good strong fitting.

Same here - had to drill a 1/4" hole on rears to fit them. It's easier if you pilot drill them first with something like ø1/8" rather than trying to plough through with the ø1/4" / ø5.5mm respectively.

Other than that, went on OK apart from letting c-clip slide down inside trim on first attempt, mucho cursing and fishing later, put bolt through as soon as clip in to stop it dropping

Megabusa - thanks for the quick response re the brackets.

Well it looks as though my interpretation of the Japanese instruction was slightly wrong regarding the rear brackets. I will modify the fitting instructions for the rears. If anyone needs the "version 2" rear mud flap instructions then please e-mail me.

Megabussa

Are you seriously planning to produce a set of mudflaps for the non-fugly impreza? If you're not, I may well do it.

If anyone doesn't wanna wait, post here, and I might make some!!!!

Oh yes! Looking goooood (if I may say so myself?).

Regarding the classic shape Scooby flaps;

I'm sure I will make some, but have a couple of major events coming up, and don't want to make promises I can't keep. I have a large mailing list of people with an interest in them, and I will contact you all when the time is right.

Cheers,
'busa
