Just seen on another post that the organisers are trying to get all people there by 09.00 for the official start of the event. This ain't going to be possible if we're meeting at Crosshands at 08.40......any ideas?

crosshands to CC is about a 5-10min drive - how long do you reckon it will take to get in the car park????

we push these times up abit and get to crosshands for 8.20 or something and get to gordano for 7.45?

 

N'ah personally I say 8.40 is early enough, we'll have plenty of time to get in.

 

Simon, Down the M32 - Around Centre/towards A370, hook a right to take you up Roundham hill then onto Gordano ?

Agree with Matt, 8.40 from Cross Hands is fine plus there are plenty of entrances into the circuit for cars parking in different areas and by the sounds of it a large proportion of the Subaru contingent ( us ) are travelling together.

Thats right matt. I am going back to taunton way today so I shall be heading up the M5 tomorrow and will stop off at Gordano on the way to meet up with the convoy.

How long does it take to get from Gordano to CC??

Managed to get some tickets to be picked up at the gate for paddock C ( this is the right paddock isn't it I don't want to end up sat in the middle of a load of Audis)

Guess I will have to wash the car now! Snowcrash as your doing yours tonight do you fancy doing mine for 20p, 30p if you wax it as well.

As I guess it's gonna be an all turbo convoy to CC is there any chance I can borrow a strong tow rope so that I don't have to play catch up all the way there?

I am pulling my hair out here!!!!!
Of the four drivers I had in mind to accompany me,Three have dropped out and at the moment left with no driver at all as I cant get in contact with the fourth.
You would think they would be lining up to drive the thing wouldn't you, beats the **** outta me.
Anyway if I cant get some ****** do drive this thing I will have to cadge a lift with one of my RS friends who IS definatly going
Very tempting to just drive it myself but not worth it having only 24 days left to run.
The likely hood of getting pulled is going to be quite high I should imagine.
So if I'm not at J14 M5 when you cruise by, don't wait.
If I'm just late thats my own stupid fault

8am, Gordano Services, our tickets, paddock pass, spare ticket, wife, kids (x2), Optimax, shiny P1, old 4-pots (for sale), for sale notice, cameras, umbrellas, picnic, CDs, money, trousers...

 

Should be 6 cars by the time we get to Gordano, Scoobdoo, Duracell, Eagle 7, WRX and myself. 2 from Cornwall, 3 from Plymouth and hopefully 1 from Taunton (Andy where are you!!). If anyone fancies tagging along, we leave Sainsburys Marshmills 6AM'ish. Stop at McDonalds in Taunton (one by bowling alley) for 7AM'ish to meet up with Andy S, and then onto Gordano for 8.

 

Dont know if this has been said in the post already but i cant be bothered to read it all.

ALISTER MCRAE ok no hero but he is making an appearence at the rallyday. QUALITY!

I'd hate to see all this hard work get washed away. Having said that I did do mine on Thursday, just a quick rub with a towel in the morning and we're ready (oh, and that's the car)

 

mines cleaned up now(with the shabby wheels, can't be arsed with changing them for the clean ones)...

anyway i guess there will be approximately 10+ cars at gordano, a couple at M5 j14 and 5+ at the crosshands, ..

anyway this will also be my last post for the night see u guys tomorrow!
