tim, you could stop off @ the crosshands on the way (just off M4 J18) and pick up some more of you guys to drive to coombe with (as its on the way too coombe off that road)...

we should be arriving at the crosshands for around 8.40am (ish)

Snowcrash, 8.40 sounds fine to me, as you say its only a few minutes down the road and things don't start till 9.00.

Tim, easy to find the Cross Hands at Old Sodbury, M4 J18 then follow A46 towards Stroud for about 2 miles, first set of traffic lights you come to turn right onto B4040 and the Cross Hands is immediately on your left Cross Hands Hotel
