South West Mob Going To Castle Coombe,July 27 ?????
Just came back from WSM along the M5 cruising at a steady 150 saw no cameras and had no flashes behind me. Had to slow down when crossing the Avon bridge its very bumpy there now.
Phil/ FMIC is a must on the 200sx the standard one is half the size of the scoobies. This gives a lot of extra power though as the boost will stay at max right through the rev range. Hybrid turbo gives good power gains but don’t go to large as what you gain in BHP you will loose in low down grunt. Going for 325-350 bhp then Phil?

I'll be interested to hear how yours is going, mine is really flying now.
See ya there

Looks like a rover 200 turbo and fiesta turbo will be waiting with me in said layby as these friends of mine were going anyway so I asked them if they wanted to join in.
***Hopefully*** my car will not be subjected to any "racing with you lot" other wise my driver will get a thick ear
Here's hoping you all take it steady and not let it go to your head....leave it for the track.
Ditto to comments abouts names to faces thing.
Hope it's a good one

Babber, Should have bought the P1 mate - Full SS exhaust = 307bhp, wasn't it Bob ?
Still hoping to get to Gordano and drive up with you all. Snowcrash, could you mail me the route mate ?
Martin, Do you still have the ticket ? might be needing it.
Cheers
Steve.

Speed camera is gone I travel that road 5 times a week. Perhaps I will get in the next 14 days 10 speed tickets. (What road works they are finished)
SteveB/ Yes 307 BHP with the full SS exhaust. A small spike at the end of the run but 300 BHP before spike.

Got my ticket for Sunday in the post
I live within spitting distance of CC but enjoy "convoys" (sensible ones anyway) so will drive out to Gordano for 8am so I can drive all the way back again

Is the plan to hack through Bristol and then A420 all the way or M4 J18, A46?
See y'all there

Lol, Sideways and me grew up with CB radios, and used to have great fun with them
Aerials in the bedroom mounted on biscuit tins with wires attached to them. All this and we may even be able to chat to someone in North Yate. Sometimes when the atmosphere was right we even be able to TX to someone in Frampton
I soon got bored with this, as my Step Dad was an amatuer radio bod, we had much better fun with that. Eventually he passed his morse code and we could then use Short Wave, which enabled us to talk to people all around the world
Cheers Phill C
