i guess we should stop at the crosshands anyway as I don't think we'll all fit at the M5 J14 layby, i'm guessing the guys at that junction will have to tag onto the end of the convoy when we creep past at 8.30am..., then all stop at the crosshands (as the crosshands car park in massive) - deploy tickets and chat and shoot off

I'm looking at putting a 2.5 Legacy engine in mine, with a triple turbo and roof mounted intercooler.

 

So how many of us do u reckon will be in the"convoy"???

I'll be at the J 14 layby but if there are shed loads of you just keep on going and I'll tag on the FRONT of the convoy.
I'll be in the car park having a picnic by the time you get there

 

i think babber will win to the crosshands ... - he has tek2.5 up his sleve and only has to roll out of bed to get there... actually you might win (babber getting out of bed )

 

I think it might be a good idea having someone with a detector up the front of the cue, as the coppers are often on the good stretch of road, armed with the radar Either that or I'll drive the route first and phone through my findings.....Just a thought.

i was thinking of travelling the route to gordano to have a look around... but yeah it might be an idea to do a cop sweep b4 the run as they dont like convoys , i doubt i'll be going mental (front tyres loosing tread ), dunno about the other guys..

 

What we should have done is a proper route, from Junc 18 into Westerleigh, around Yate, and up the street, taking in a little bit of smarts green or a lot in sideways case but keep it slow and let all the people see all these lovely scoobies cruising slowly around The Nova boys would be knocking one out

Anyway, seriously there is nothing to prove when driving in a convoy, we need to keep it all tame. If anyone wants to see the TEK 2.5 and Delta Dash, I'll be the bold headed chap in the RB5 on a v plate Come and have a chat, especially the newbies, share our wealth of experience, lol.... Like what mods next, etc. What tyres are good and what ones are ****e
