In all fairness the video is the dogs b0llocks - but I have to say I am not at all impressed with the quality of my copy and want a refund of my £15 that the pr1ck charged me!

As for the soundtrack that Snowcrash has put on it - to be quite honest it's sh1te but there we go that's what happens when the audio provider dissapears at the crucial moment

Oh yeah, I thought it was supposed to be Dolby stereo...sounded more like mono to me!

Give me a blank vhs which isn't knakered next time turbo

no I admit the transfer was buggered from my mac to the camera so you got a few accidental slow motion scenes... give me the tape back i'll do you a better copy, also the vid has been slightly changed again (i dunno if you'll notice the differences ).

S stands for Super - i.e. Superman
V stands for Video - i.e. collection of still images flickered ..
C stands for Compact- i.e. small
D stands for Disk - i.e. flat round object

i'm going back to sleep now

themax_STI and myself are going to have a bash at encoding the video tonite...

cheers

simon.

P.S. Babber- Big Bear said he could make up those stickers (they are removeable also... but he couldn't do the St. George's cross so do you want me to get some made by salsa still??
also do you want the vid in svcd or vhs?

Lol, mondeo boy we should call him from now on

Anyway even he said that the video was better than any "Max Power" ones he's seen - even his Mum thought it was good

Hey come on, Turbo's car is quick...I bet head to head it would probably eat yours for breakfast.

I was thinking of doing a swap with him because mine just seems so sluggish after going in his.

From what I've seen his is much more of a bird pulling machine as well. Maybe we should all get wagons rather than crappy saloons.

snowcrash, what's the SP on this video mate? I just got back off holiday and there seem to have been lots of postings about formats, but nothing about a definitive release. I'd like a copy when available!

softwizz - vhs is a definate.
s/vcd, divx, mov i dunno (depends when TheMax_STI can get around to doing it (i think he was going to do a svcd and a divx version)...

apart from that as I haven't had many responses, i don't know what to do about it (i.e. copies)...:|
i think i will charge £5/vid as that should cover postage & media and time...

i might edit together a trailer this week to get some more interest, i think all scooby/evo (or just car nuts) will like it, and people who've seen it who aren't into cars as much seemed to like it too (although they said it was a bit long - as they lost interest as they weren't really interested in the topic) but everyone like's the end of it...

P.S. video is 58mins long !

snowcrash, how is the master currently recorded? I assume it's in some non-linear editing suite, as a compiled series of clips which you have presumably imported in a common resolution and compression. Or is it already rendered and exported as a single file?

How was TheMax_STI going to get hold of the master edit, to generate the DiVX version?

(BTW, 58 minutes of raw DV footage at 3.6Mb/sec is about 12.5Gb - that would fit on an ADR30 cartridge - I don't suppose you have an ADR30 drive attached to anything at your installation? On the other hand, the write would take many hours, so that isn't going to be practical either).

So far from what I can gather people want this in DIVX, MPG, VCD, SVCD.. Please any more tell me...

The MPG / VCD will be one CD.
The DIVX will be one CD.
The SVCD will probily be two CD's.
