Do English MOT's not have a std and a fast idle check they must pass for petrol cars, so 2 emissions test as such? whereas in NI we just have a std idle check - which unless your car is running like a bag will usually be sitting at stoich / 14.7

Yes has to be revd up for a few mins on 3000 rpm.
