Great work @adam.pah !
I wouldn't take out the modifications the car has, afterall, they are quality parts and as you say make the car drive better.
I've been in the same dilemma with my 20th anniversary, if it doesn't sell should I fit a sports cat downpipe and remap it or keep it standard?

A down pipe will really open it up so I'd say yes. It's really easy to throw the old cat back on it and get a map tweak if you want to or just sell it with the original cat included.

This one will be going to auction in the next couple of weeks, I'm just waiting to have the car photographed. I've lost interest in trying to sell privately as I've had time waster after time waster.

Thanks mate. They really are in the sweet spot between raw and capable, I love them. It does seem to be getting harder to find a good one nowadays though, even in Japan it's rare to see a grade 4 now and they sell for ridiculous figures when they do pop up.

I now have a few cars , main thing is a e46 m3 track car seems to tick all the boxes for me.

I do intend on buying another track day car too, would love an e46 M3 but out of my budget nowadays, may get a caterham style kit car for the time being. I always regretted not keeping my e36 M3, probably one of the best handling cars I've owned, but we all have those regrets.
I just want something that's cheap and fun and I can stick on a trailer really. The MEV Exocet looks like an interesting one.

Yes. Didn't meet the reserve and although I had some offers after the auction ended, I didn't think they matched the value of the car.
