Chips, FETs, capacitors do NOT come via China. Whereas your TV or pretty much any domestic appliance does contain Chinese parts (even if assembled elsewhere). Which is why your TV or phone charger packs in after five years but you'll likely get 20years or more out of a ABS or Airbag module (unless physically damaged from humidity).
