I’ve changed my brembo 4 pots on my Subaru to Porsche 966 gt3 6 pots on the front. These are off my other SCOOB. Both have braided lines and race fluid.
I only ever fitted ebc yellow pads that supplied when i bought with them.
so not 100% sure if part numbers bellow are even right!!!
DP51454NDX blue
DP51516NDX blue
DP41454R yellow
DP41514R yellow
DP41515R yellow
DP41516R yellow
DP31454C red
DP81515RP1 race
DP91516 orange
I assume end number changes either year/ version
I have always using same pad front and back.

when you loose the friction material off pad on a track day.
Can be a bum clenching moment.
Pump the pedal and just hope the metal twists and jams in the calliper.
Managed to kill enough speed to get round the bend
although pistons have made an impression 😂

Could you start by sending me some more photos of both sides of the yellow pads as we would be interested in seeing more. We would like to offer to get you some pads made for track use and sent to you as a gift. I will await the PM. Thanks

this was complete Operator error.
I was only booked for 1x 20min session so enough 6-7mm of pad.
But got 4x more given me cheaply. I would have fitted new pads if I’d had known.
I always have a spare set in tool bag now.
A bit surprised on how much they did wear down. They were starting to fade so easing off.
other 3 pads had under 2mm left. So I wasn’t to surprised really.
had a similar thing with Pagids but that was worse. About 4+mm

Thanks for your 'driver error' honesty and Yellow wouldn't haven't been your best option for track. Fancy trying out a set of our RP-X track pads free of charge, then let us know your thoughts? If so, send me a PM with full vehicle details and shipping address and I will get some sorted. Thanks

Would be good to see some data
Use a few of your compounds on same car cold, hot & hotter
Do some dragy times or gps measured 60-0mph tests. Show how they compare with rival pads
Hard to find a good brake pad comparison like such & and youtube videos are far better marketing tools nowadays than forum posts or worse performance mags.
EBC Youtube channel. Showing where each pad performs best. Back to back or multiple 60-0 all done on same car with std brake system.

Brilliant service 👍👍👍👍👍
Some good news and not so good news. LOL
back brakes fitted 👍 fronts don’t fit as foul the AP rotor adapters.
As The rotors are 10mm narrower. Otherwise fits perfect. This not a big issue as I can resolve this.
Unless you have OEM pad that fits straight in then that would be awesome. But doubt it very much.
When I bought the kit I ha two sets of pads and two pairs AP Rotors.
The DP41516R but were machined at inside radius >10.00- <10.5mm to fit. not surprised as Porsche brakes fitted to a Subaru.
I can get this done locally possibly on the mill at work. I suspect it’ll not be a standard OEM pad fitment ??? if it is brilliant 👍 as I know some other subarus have this conversion.

We would not suggest cutting them down as the problem is that when machined you can break the bond between the material and backplate, leading to the possibility of the material coming away from the backplate in use.

You mean the 'still' part? There is no 'like they used to' in your original comment, although the answer remains the same either way, NO!

2008, 2010, 2015, we are now in 2021 so these are very old posts you have unearthed!!!
Whilst we appreciate past issues, our products have been further developed over the past few years and with people using the correct pad/ application for the correct vehicle and their usage we get very little issues, We would never say 'no issues' as no business or company can ever say that, although We have sold over 1,000,000 yellow pads with very little issue from anyone so the improvements speak for themselves.
I would offer to send you some new pads to try free of charge but I feel that offer won't be accepted but thanks for participating in the thread though.
