That looks a really nice example! Are the covers for the battery and the brake fluid reservoir aftermarket? Don't think I've seen them before.

The covers are OE from a JDM Gen 4 Legacy. The Brake Resevoir and ABS cover fit straight on. The battery cover need a little triming.
They do the j9b.

paperwork says it was last service August last year, 2000km ago. Been driving it for 2 days now, loving it 😊 only issue I’ve found so far is boot spoiler is knocking.. think some of the rubber pads bits are missing that sit between it and and rear window

That's common, it uses 4 or 5 small individual rubber strips underneath, over time they lose their adhesive strength and move or slide out. I wouldn't get those same OEM strips again, i actually have a set of the OEM ones here but i wouldn't use them as their are better options. Just measure the thickness of one and buy a similar 2m length rubber strip from somewhere like amazon with adhesive backing so you have one complete strip rather than 4 or 5 individual ones that over time will do the same again. Take the tailgate trim off to access the nuts for the spoiler, it comes off easy.

I did this at the weekend.. the two centre nuts were loose which wasn’t helping. All sorted now 😁

Glad your sorted, as you will have seen those small 4 or 5 individual rubber strips are a bad design, it should be one rubber strip that the spoiler sits on. On the loose nuts you had you could even put a small amount of thread lock on because how many times are you going to take the spoiler off, at least you know they wouldn't come lose again, possibly from vibration.
