Congrats dude, any photos of it from auction? I'm at the other end of the UK to you unfortunately, based in Edinburgh!

Very nice, I've not seen a black one yet. Did it take a while to find the one you wanted?

Luckily i'm not in a rush to sell it hence why i've not pushed it or put it on the usual sites like Autotrader, Pistonheads and facebook marketplace etc. I've been enjoying it recently in this great weather, because i never drive it in the wet it's great to get her out and have a nice drive, if someone made me an offer i'm happy with i'd probably sell it as i want an AMG mercedes at some point if i can find a suitable one, i'm just happy for now to keep on enjoying the car on a nice day, the handling and ride comfort on these is incredible, the Recaros are like sitting in an armchair too.

The dust covers/seals should still fit as their is a recess area at the top of them which will be generic to any struts as the tops are all in the same position, the seals are obviously there for a reason.

Most coilovers are not designed to use the OE rubber top hat, although i believe some are.

Did your cars come with rear fog lights? Or did you have to fit one?

Retrofitted. The switch has been placed to the right of the steering wheel on mine but I'm guessing it can be wired to wherever you want.

Mine already came fitted on the car, it looks in the same position as Holb Scoobs pic and uses the same rear light as his, probably done by the same company that uses that as a stock locoation.

Congrats on your new toy arriving, when was it last serviced and had the timing belt changed etc. If that were me and i was getting a used car esp from another country i'd change all the fluids, plugs and filters and have the timing belt changed etc, while the timing belt is off i'd change the water pump too, that way you know what your starting with and your starting off on the right foot, enjoy the car they are a great drivers car and the handling is superb along with the comfort of the Recaro's.

Mines running 313 at the fly and around 260 at the wheels. Very steady AFR. Not been mapped for UK fuel and I'm really unsure whether it's something I should get done but it's been here for 6 years and only ever run on V Power or the equivalent.

Got a link to the one you're looking at?

If there's a hesitation at 2.5-3k revs it's normal and referred to as "GR stumble" - have a quick Google. No issues with the car, just a fuelling issue from standard and can be sorted or left as is.

It's the best handling car I've ever had and I find myself just going out for a drive to enjoy it. Make sure if you test drive you get it in to sport # as it's night and day compared to intelligent which is dull as dish water but good for daily driving

Check for rust around all arches and sub frame and normal checks re oil cap and coolant levels. Check through service history to ensure it's been serviced regularly and fluids used are correct.

If standard it'll have silver shocks (bilstein), multi-spoke silver alloys and a black boot spoiler.

officially 308PS, check all suspension components for wear, engine and steering leaks, depending on mileage check the bigger service items like fuel pump and filter in the tank.

Open the hatch, and check the roof seams at the top. The sealant shrinks back and the seam rusts. If bushings are original they can be dearer to replace if you want originality, being all sti.
