I'd hypothetically sacrifice my first born for that sequential
Nothing like a novelty oversize gear indicator mounted no the dash to show you mean business

Have you done a 1/4 mile with the current state of tune? Be interesting to see what time the sequential would take off
How do the ratio’s compare to whatever box you were running previously?

No 1/4 for many years was narrow body the last time it did it!
it had long ratio hawk before
sequential has much longer first and slightly shorter 6th and a more even spread so should be much better for track use but still able to do vmax stuff if I decide to do it again

I managed to get mine on the Xmas promotion it was £10,400 all in delivered. Well worth doing when there is a deal on as the standard price is significantly more !!!!

that’s correct box casing require on top

The injectors came back from cleaning and flow testing
All give a clean bill of Heath, all well matched after cleaning
He tested them at my static fuel pressure 4.2 bar at that pressure they max out at 1550cc I did decide to swap injector 2 & 3 round as the one originally fitted to number 3 was the slightly lowest flowing.

Cylinder heads have now been re-torqued
I have been running the older style cam belt tensioner for years
But now I have the sequential it’s highly recommended to use the RCM high tension set up Unfortunately I also noticed the alternator bracket had started to crack
So a new bracket required
Again another sequential supporting upgrade I decided to fit ARP flywheel bolts
The crank pulley has been changed out decided to go for a fluidampr to help with vibrations
While the exhaust manifold was off I decided to tidy up some of the rap but unfortunately I found the reason for the rap failing the manifold is cracked I will weld them up as best I can and continue to put the car back together so I can get the gearbox set up. But a new exhaust manifold will be required before mapping On a positive note the cracked headers would have made the turbo spool worse as well so fingers crossed when it’s all sorted the new turbo should spool as well!

The engine is all back in now, still with the old intercooler for now I will sort that later
I have added a pre turbo exhaust gas pressure sensor to help at the mapping stage, the kit was supplied by Steve SMG
I have completed the wiring for the the exhaust pressure sensor, mapdccd controller, gear position, sensor and gears shifter strain sensor. Having the inputs all on one plug made the wiring nice and easy for the ecu inputs, I decided to add a 5volt sensor 6 way plug and a sensor ground 6 way plug this time so adding sensors is very easy now
I am glad I went to the effort of mounting the shifter further back to allow the the gearshift gater to be refitted it definitely looks the part I have run up the engine and been through the gears on the ramp. The gear shift display had to be set up this is now complete so it’s displaying the correct gears now. I still need to mount the display but I have decided I want it to the right of the steering wheel. Tim at TJ innovations is making me up an extension cable to allow this (I did not have the connections required or the correct crimping tool)
next on the list is to set up the new sensors in the ECU
