I know everyone says the XXR wheels are so common but I think they suit this car really well so have ordered a new set in Matt black.

Ah good work. I totally agree, the XXR wheels are light and made very well so I have no issues at all with them, plus as you say they really suit the car.

Funnily enough I'm half way through a colour change on my new Rota wheels right now.

you didn't keep the wheels the original colour for long...but I remember you saying you wasn't sure on the colour when you bought them.

Yep, they were ok in the original colour, but not really my thing so I wanted to change them.

Seems wrong rubbing down immaculate wheels though.

Yeah I bet, what colour are you going?
I did my civic type R wheels last year but they were battered so didn't mind attacking them!
Wouldn't fancy rubbing new wheels down either!
Was going to get the foz wheels powder coated but for the price difference I just bought new...then I can sell the old ones and get a bit of cash back.

I'm a sucker for bronze wheels on my Subarus, especially on a deep dish wheel like the Rota Vector Pro-R wheels I have. They look much better with a little colour and that horrible black chrome effect gone to be honest. Just need to pull my finger out and get them done.

There is a new powder coating place local to me run by a guy I've known for a while. He did all my FMIC pipes and they look great. However, my wheels are being sprayed. Prefer spraying alloys TBH.

Matt black will look good on the Foz. Apart from bronze, my other wheel default is always black!

Bronze will look quality on your car.
Wanted gloss black really but you can't get them hence the Matt black.
Around here powder coating wheels is expensive for some reason, will keep him in mind hopefully he can do them at a good price.
I had my PFF7's powder coated cost me £400 then my Escort RS wheels £315 .
Crazy money considering the cheap powder coating thread on here at the mo!

WOW that's mad. That is fairly common price wise to be honest, I've been quoted that too. My mate locally owns his own spray shop and he will change the colour of wheels for £200, plus balancing. Which is pretty decent.
