So
@Smithys STI popped round in the old FSTI this weekend. Now running 522bhp on the forged Enginetuner 2.35 EJ22 engine. It's an animal. Just doesn't stop pulling and puts a massive smile on your face.
Also, I'm taking my Subaru down to Enginetuner this coming Monday. Can't bloody wait. Been over everything with Alyn and Ben and they have already discussed my car with Martyn. They should have it for around 2 weeks to get everything done.
Very excited. Light is at the end of a long tunnel now.

hahaha. Yes you are correct Alyn. Sorry, I started writing the post this morning and got busy with work and only finished writing it this afternoon while I wasn't concentrating (and badly multi-tasking). If all Alan's were Alyn that would save a lot of effort and confusion to be honest.
Obviously had you on my mind again. mate!

Thanks mate. Honestly can't wait.
Trouble is I know this is a slippery slope. I can see me wanting more power after this and getting another block built up.

Well the engine is now out of the car and on the bench at ET ready to be worked on. We're finally under way!

Hopefully nothing at this stage apart from visual and health check including compression test etc.
There is so much getting fitted and modified it was just easier to take the engine back out. lol

Somewhere around there for now. Target is as close to 450 as they can get with the best spool possible.

Picked up the car today. Holy cow it's good fun. Martyn was so excited he sent me the graph last night when he'd finished mapping.
So my little SC42 upgraded turbo made a little more than its predicted 420 bhp figure. All the turbo upgrades and quality supporting mods were well worth it in the end. Final figure on pump fuel was 456 bhp.
Spools like an absolute animal and comes on full boost as early as the VF48 did before it, but with a while lot more behind it.
The car is being featured by Enginetuner this Friday as their feature car following a photo shoot today. I'll post up some more pictures when that's out.

I will take loads of pictures when I get it back. Checked the header tank which was empty this morning, so gone back today for investigation.
