Gong to Hong Kong next week
easiest way to meet in HK is in TST, star ferry at the corner of McD (entrance to harbour city). take the ferry across to HK island and head for LKF. lots and lots of pubs there (and gwai lows!) and you can pop in to the subaru showroom in admiral/central!
BL,
you'd better name the Mong Kok exit. There must be at least 10.
Also there used to be quite a few tuning shops in Causeway Bay, a little further inland than Hennessey Road, rows of them!

Brian,
Ferries - 1530 to Kowloon or 1630 to Central (Macau Terminal)
Been `passing through` for some 14 months now and never had the time to `shop` so whatever suits us all best. Pacific is easy for me; we can always move on.....
Thanks
PS I`ll be staying over at the end of August (wife`s coming over)so will be looking for a few `tourist` tips !!

jamesa, if Delanay's TST is fine for you then it's, of course, fine for me too - yes it's still on Peking Road with the entrance just across from DeliFrance.
Pub, is your choice.
If you're happy with that then i'll be there between 6 & 7pm (Happy Hour).

Cost of parking varies from HK$5 to HK$35 per hour, depending on location. Hotspots such as Causeway Bay costs abt $22 to $25 per hour, Central being abt the same.
It's slightly cheaper in Kowloon side, the multistorey in Dundas St is abt $16 per hour during day time & abt $20 at nite. Parking meters are around the $20 mark per hour. So all in all comparable to London.
It isn't too hard to find a space in multistoreys, even for places such as Windsor in Causeway Bay at weekends. It is harder to find a space on street tho.

Oh that is sad, a BA tag
No carnation (i wear t-shirts) so i will choose now to wear my off-white t-shirt with a Ferrari shield on the left nipple.
If i'm there before you, i'll be the one with the Kilkenny. See you there!
