I know a lad who's Syvecs he did in a P1 not so long ago, would need to be all installed and ready to map tho i'd imagine.

 

 

was in contact with andyf back end of last year about getting my classic with apexi power fc in, he recommended a couple things before going then comms went dead, guess this explains it wouldve been nice to have been told though, feel like i lost a couple months waiting about.

 

How do you guys even contact Andy Forrest? I tried fb, two different emails several times over a month. Not even a squeek .

 

Their is really no excuse for bad communication if you are running a business,places like that i just forget about their existence and move on to another business,i have and will never badger any company to take my hard earned cash.SJ.

 

 

id previously had no luck with the email on the website and had used the his hotmail acccount which i got replies on but usually around a 10 day delay.

i wouldnt care through waiting and playing with the datalogit software and wideband readings ive now actually got the car running pretty sweetly.

 

 

I sent him an email and it took 8 days to get a reply

 

just have the ecu moved over to another mapper ,, just had two alkatecs updated and moved over to be mapped by bob rawle

 

Whats involved ecu removing from car or just Alcatek laptop code?.SJ.

 

I removed mine and posted them to Andy @ alcatek

 

 

Andy has been very ill in hospital and has had to have a operation ,, he is now back at work but I expect he isn't answering calls due to the work load trying to catch back up as with everyone wanting to ring him he wouldn't be able to work if he answered all his calls

just post it to him with a note inside explaining what you want doing (moved onto bobs dongle and any updates) also add return details and your phone number and stuff in case he needs to contact you , post recorded and sign for so you know they got it (I insure mine)

told a couple of people about this in the last couple of weeks and theres has been sorted for them without much delay

Contact tegsport. Andy no longer deals with the public. I just received my dongle and cable plus basemap for 210plus vat. Still one of the best ECU you can get

 

Well thats bloody good news!

 

And I just bought one last month. Including the pink dongle and cables and CD.

Believe Matty at mb developments in ellon ( aberdeenshire) can map it

 

that's all down to if its locked and who its locked to ,,, lots of mappers can map them but only if they have access to it ,, which most dont unless previously mapped by them

 

TEG Sport are dealing with these, they can supply dongles so I assume that means the ECU can be unlocked.

 

I used Mark Thwaites from TDR who made a good job of mapping my Impreza Rally Car. I also have a spare dongle if you need to buy one.
