Crap cars your parents had...
#31
I can't complain really, my parents did OK with cars when I was young. Worst would have been my mum's Vauxhall somethingorother. My dad's Triumph TR6 runs it pretty close though. Lovely car and I'm sure my dad had a great time but my sister and I, squashed onto the bloody parcel shelf, hated it.
My daughter will probably complain about some of the cars I've had.

My father wasn't the biggest car enthusiast.
Austin A35 - I sat on his lap and steered it when I was aged about 3.
Ford Capri (forgiven), but a 1.6 in white with a black vinyl roof (less forgiven).
Reliant Kitten - a Robin with 4 wheels. I could actually reach the pedals in this so 'learnt' to drive in it. I managed to pull the gear stick out of the gearbox though leaving us stranded miles from home. He even managed to get a 9foot Christmas tree inside it song with myself and my mum. He couldn't exactly see much on the drive home. This was the late 1970's or early 1980's though so could get away with just about anything.
Vauxhall Viva 1.3 (IIRC) in a mustard yellow. It was rust-proofed with ziebart(sp) that smelt of bitumen when the weather was warm and made you high, nauseous or most likely both. Fortunately the car rotted away so had to be replaced with another Vauxhall.
Vauxhall Nova 1.0 saloon in white. Piece of crap that also rotted away.
Sense finally took over in the late 90's when he bought the first of 2 Peugeots. The first being a 205 followed by a 106.

The strange thing is that all these cars that we say are crap are actually selling for decent money now. I think the worst my step dad had was an Austin maxi in brown wot a piece of s##t
