After searching what felt like the entire internet for diagrams\pinouts\wiring information unsuccessfully, I decided to collaborate with a local tuner who does wiring and we created a short YouTube video to make other people's lives easier. I know every model might have a different pinout or wire colors so this method should work for all applications.
Here is the link if anyone else ever needs the wiring info:
When I first had mine done they looked the bees knees. Now a year later they have hairline cracks that really bug me. And yes uv protection was used on them.
So a few changes for me recently after 9 years of owning my car and various different power stages from completely standard to 426bhp it was time to move to a 6 speed, decided to go a different route than normal I managed to pick up a spec b legacy that had a blown engine for £1000 and put the 6 speed and diff in mine so could stay at 5x100 we had to modify the speedo as it’s slightly different in the legacy’s to the Impreza I never done this so not sure what was involved but I’m sure someone on here will be able to tell me
I’d been having trouble on boost every time I come on to boost smoke out the exhaust so was either over fuelling or letting oil through the turbo after taking it off we found the turbo to be letting oil through and was knackered, the decision was made not to rebuilt it as to be honest it never really suited the car and was very laggy so I opted for the RCM precision turbo seen some good power made on 2.0 engines so hopefully it works well
Next choice I decided was I wanted to reverse the manifold two reasons was less travel for the air to travel and I personally think it looks so much better
Had a few other little jobs sorted
Gauges all wired up
10mm spacers on the rear wheels
2 arch liners as mine were cracked
Painted windscreen wipers as all the paint was coming off
That’s about it getting mapped by Bob Rawle on Friday so fingers crossed everything is ok and there’s no issues

looking good sam, your 5 speed held out for a long time did it not?
are you still bringing your car up to hinckley for paul to work on?

I wonder whether the plastic lenses can be bought separately?
Edit: it seems it's possible for non-HIDs.
Winter wheels went on, also painted the inlet manifold, new turbo blanket, silicon rad hoses, killer b sump/pick up etc and ported the standard exhaust manifold
@fpan it was easy enough, you need to remove the pitch stop mount and undo the main engine mounts to raise the engine so you can get to the rear sump bolts but it wasn't a bad job to do.
@lockheed ooh why didn't you say lol, here you go.
It was done April 2020 and still looking good today, I replaced all the bolts and most of the bushes etc. I'll give it proper wash and inspect it in the spring.
