Paul said it's a contact issue with the 12v power coming out of OBD. Quite common apparently. Thankfully I live very close to a fantastic auto electrician who will sort it no problem I'm sure.

Personally, I'd prefer a fixed perch strut/spring combo for a daily driver with occasional track use such as Bilsteins/STi pink springs like Don has in his saloon or a R205 setup (the former, most probably) although those Ohlins seem tempting!
The OEM parts database software (JDM, Europe and General and US versions) is widely available on the net (some older versions for free) but upto date versions and can also be purchased.
It is even mentioned in a number of threads on Scoobynet, for example.....
I've bought a few bits to improve the handling.
STi Group N Engine Pitch Stopper
STi Group N 6 Speed Gearbox Mount
STi Group N Engine Mount Set
STi Uprated Gear Lever Support Cushion
STi Flexible Draw Stiffener Kit ST20118ZR000
MeisterR GT1 coilovers.
I wanted the Ohlins R&T and even bought a set but the supplier said they'd changed the price and they were about £400 more than I'd spent so got a refund & went with the GT1's from MeisterR who were fantastic with communication and delivery.
Still need a couple of Whiteline bits before booking in with Chevron for fitting and alignment hopefully in September or October
Yes, but not a fun job tbh. Jacking the engine up while on axle stands is scary. If you've got access to a lift then it'd be much easier.
Just got an update from the mechanic and Saturday pickup is not happening
How many hours labour to fit:
MeisterR GT1 Coilovers
Group N STI Trans Crossmember Bushing Kit B4100FG000 / ST41022ZR000
Group N STi Stiffer Shifter Bushing B0220FG300 / ST35036ST000
Group N Engine mounts
Group N Gearbox mount 6MT
Group N pitch mount
Whiteline Roll centre correction Kit
STi Flexible Draw Stiffener Kit ST20118ZR000
Oil Change
Alignment
Got all the bits fitted and aligned, it feels much better now. Group N Engine & Gearbox mounts seem like a bit of a waste as the original ones were in great condition. There was a clunk and scrape after the initial fitting so took it somewhere else and they found the front mud guard hanging and ripped in half
Ride height is at 35 cm front and 34 cm rear.
That's what I asked for, I know you and Simon both like a bit of toe-in, but the rest of the internet says zero toe all round for the hatch I wanted more camber in the front and less in the back but it drives nicely as is so I'll leave it alone and play with the damper settings.
