Tyson was fantastic until he went downhill, so fast with so much power.
I remember watching him fight Trevor Berbick, and couldn't believe what I was seeing.
This guy was hit so fast, with such power.

Tyson was exceptional, even more so given his size... but as I always say being big is as much of a disadvantage as it is an advantage... like he says 'speed' is the key... most big guys go through life never really having to fight... they mostly intimidate and create a sense of AWE... until they meet someone that's not afraid and can fight.

This is a little bit of what Mayweather has had going in his favour as well as the skills to back it up of course... a very large percentage of fighting and being a winner is psychology... and Macgregor has the mind of a winner as well as the speed and skills to back it up.

I say don't write the guy off, this isn't a forgone conclusion, sure Mayweather is a hell of a boxer... but Macgregor is a hell of a fighter anyone who's done a bit of fighting will know... it's not always the 'Best' that wins... Macgregors always going to have a fighters chance because he has an eye for the target.

Oh and I don't care who wins, not sure how much of their personalties is hype.. but they both come across as A holes... I only hope it's not the case in reality.

The ref should have let it go on a bit longer, so we could see him get a battering and knocked on his hole

Old Berbick fought toe to tow with Mike which was out of character but tbh Mike was knackered after 90 seconds of toe to toe, holding like a mad man as he often did early in the 2nd.

A fighter like Lenny Lewis, Vitali or Holyfield in any version would start to pick off Mike at this stage.

Maybe Mayweather had horrendous smelly flatulence and McGregor just want to get out before the gas depleted all of his brain cells! Don't they eat a ton to keep up with the calories they are burning? Mayweather could have had a cheesy bean burrito beforehand.

I think people forget Conor went ten rounds with the best in the world and didn't get knocked down. He fought an impressive fight, you have to give it to him.

1-1 outside the boxing ring Conor would have ended Floyd in seconds.

Exactly !! In all of mayweathers fights over the years the most times he'd ever been hit during a 12 round fight was 101 times

McGregor landed 112 punches on him in 10 rounds ! You can't take it away from mcgregor he held his own seeing as boxing isn't even his sport, get mayweather in the octogan and he'd get destroyed

Personally they both played a blinder building on the hype and both have earned a fortune from it so who wouldn't have done the same

yep connor did well against someone considered the best ever. according to the stats he hit him more times than manny did in 12 rounds. as usual with mcgregor his gas tank let him down and mayweather has said in all his interviews he was waiting for that to happen deep into the fight then look to take him out. mystic may this time lol. one thing i would say was that the ref would not let them clinch at all and i mean at all, so mcgregor never got the chance to get a round off and catch his breath like a lot of boxers do in fights, his corner man said in round 8 i think it was, to do just that but the ref im guessing was wary of mcgregor reverting to mma style in fighting in the clinch so just wouldnt let them do it. and just to say also i thought connor won the first 3 rounds but the judges only gave him 1? anyway he can at least say he stayed on his feet and didnt go down plus banked a nice check for millions.

Quit against Williams and mcbride
Bit Holyfields ear off to avoid a second beating

Don't think you can call anyone with a record like his a bum.
He was done by the time he fought lewis, williams or mcbride.

Yes, Holyfield gave him a lesson.

His ex wife and Don King had a big part to play in his downfall.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about...
There will never again be a Heavyweight to rival Tyson in his prime...
20yrs old and being the Heavyweight Champ is not myth or easily done... 1997 on are not the years to judge his career on

I was disappointed by the game plan in the McGregor camp, Mayweather is a notorious defensive illusive boxer....
Conor is a hard hitter but Gases out quickly... Diaz (1) was a disaster, Diaz (2) was a few seconds from being another disaster and all from gassing out...

It was only logical that Mayweather was going to capitalise on this known problem, and let McGregor punch himself out, hitting arms and air.
You can look at it that McGregor out boxed him in 3 rounds, but realistically Mayweather didn't box for 3 rounds and let McGregor un load his shots and energy.. and that's exactly what happened..
I don't like Mayweather but to be fair to him, when McGregor was all jelly legged and his head bobbing around Mayweather could of made an absolute show of him and start show boating but he didn't, perhaps he could of even put him away earlier on in the rounds but let it run a bit longer for fans... he was receiving zero damage

Agreed on mother in-laws, they can be trouble alright.

Don King I believe instigated the firing of Kevin Rooney, then it seemed to go to **** after that.

This had nothing to do with boxing. It was show business.A huge payout for a retiring champ & his funny man side kick. They both won by a huge margin & everyone else who fell for it lost.Such is the power of hype in the media these days.

All the people he fought can't be bums.
Was Trevor Berbick a bum, was Pinklon Thomas a bum as Berbick took the title from him(plus Tyson took him apart).
