I know the media do rehearsal run-throughs, etc. in readiness for these type of events.
...But by Christ, the way they go about reporting it, it's almost as if they couldn't wait for it to bloody happen. Such is the frothing at the mouth in their 'excitement' to get the story out.
****s me right off lol.

Yes - but neck is still vulnerable and a close up of one of the knives shows it to look more like a military assault knife.
The size of the attacker and this type of knife used in anger would not be easily stopped - even with a stab vest.

Unbelievable that the guy mows down people on Westminster Bridge, then outside Parliament where he crashes the car - then gets out and stabs to death an armed Policeman?! You'd think after all that carnage an armed Policeman would be the last to get stabbed. Terrible event though.

I was listening to a piece where the bbc was a accused of raising the profile of such events by analysing it to death-excuse the word. Don't discuss it, the little S4!t was a nutter and that's it. He and anyone else involved should be sent to prison for a very long time.

As is usual around here... I take a slightly different view.
He's as much a victim as those he has killed... in that he's been sold a load of religious bollocks to the point of killing because of it.
Irony being that in doing so he's played into the hands of those he was conditioned to hate... now they have more justification for the things they do in the name of "Keeping us all safe from harm"...
It's a complicated web we have all been woven into.

No, no close-to-hard proof made public yet, but the speculation seems to be that it could be a terrorist attack by a lone Islamist, but probably an organised and a pre-meditated one; with the involvement of more brainwashed people. More arrests have been made in Birmingham etc., so it looks like this incident is being looked at as an organised Islamist terrorist attack, not necessary a lone terrorism act.
Why aren't they telling the killed killer's name, though? I bet they knew it by yesterday evening, and I wonder what harm it may do, if they make his name public?
Very unfortunate incident. So bad.

Also, Theresa May keeps saying that it is to be noted that 'they didn't succeed'. 'They' being that lone killer. That's because the parliament is still safe! IMO this trivialises the killing and injuring of the innocent, regular people walking on the bridge path. He did succeed in causing unbelievable trauma for them and their loved ones. The killing of the police officer on duty is being highlighted and he is being honoured for his bravery, which I 100% echo, but can you imagine the horror experienced by those innocent ones that were struck by that car at random? My heart goes out for those 'not so significant' (for the government) people and their loved ones.

Hate breeds hate. Learn to love and forgive if you want to defeat these people. If you can't do that, write, read and laugh at some satire.

Its not about defeating anyone, its about understanding, empathy and the ability to see beyond your own point of view.
Sadly the human race is vicious as hell and will use leverage wherever it can be found to further personal adgendea...be that through religion, politics, business or any other medium.
So we are fcuked

Never let facts get in the way of the truth, especially when racing to be the first to break the news.....
