Doesn't the intake manifold with the large plenum and long runners from an ej253 na sohc flow similar or better to the spec c manifold? cheaper and easy to come by too . . . .
The difference is so marginal it's not worth the work involved. Especially as most of the cars shown here are bigger turbos which will fill the pipework pretty quickly anyway.
I'd say 200rpm difference in spool at best.
I actually went back to a non reverse set up on mine.

Flows as well as a cosworth manifold going by the test that was done on nasioc from memory, looking about £200 for one
