Indicates all sorts of instances they will cover you on a car you do not own. So buying 1 day insurance for a car you do not own but are about to test drive is no problem at all.

There are probably restrictions with age and the type of car as well I think. I had it once when a 26 yr old tried day insurance for a supra he had bought off me just to get it home and couldnt do it..

Why don't you just contact a broker like Moley? Moley will know what is possible and any insurance companies that may do this for performance cars. Seems the sensible thing to contact someone in the industry who can help or at the very least point you in the right direction.
