This really is a strange statement, why does carrying a weapon make him a coward?

Your statement is out of context with the whole post, re-read it then try not to be provocative.

It is a shame. A shame we all have to pay to keep him locked up rather than him being dead.
However, I'm not an expert on the situation but iirc he was followed for some time and didn't pose a threat to anyone apart from Jo *** that day. There is video footage of him being arrested by regular officers, armed police show up later. They obviously assessed the situation and decided he posed no threat to them. Would be a different story if he was holding a gun in the street, shame he wasn't.
Another scummy coward off the streets though. Let's hope the police continue with their brave efforts.

Eh? I quoted the full paragraph, so you've got all the context you need. As for being provocative, it's a perfectly reasonable question. With the information given how can you possibly draw any meaningful conclusion on the mentality of the individual.

He may or may not have been a scumbag, he's never been convicted of a crime so up until the day of his shooting he was an innocent man.

There seems to have been a gun 7 at the scene, lets wait to see the facts on that.

My fear is that lethal force might be doled out far quicker if you have a black or brown face than if you have a white one. The police already have some questions to answer over the number of deaths of BMEs in custody.

I'd hate to see us slip into the situation of USA where it seems ok to shoot a black man in the back who is running away or strangle a black man to death for selling dodgy cigarettes.

Or that other dude, Raul something who shot 5 people which 2 of them was police, armed police arrested him and serving time.

There is a lot of racist comments flown about on the articles which is just sickening without knowing what actually happened. I'm trying not to get involved in any of this type of stuff as always goes the same way.

But.
Don't police have to use a 'marked' vehicle to make a 'planned' stop? In this case a silver e class Mercedes was used. The man that got shot was in the 'passenger ' of Audi, and was shot at from the passenger of the Mercedes 'unmarked' armed police vehicle.
Now I'm not saying anything about him, but what if he thought it was some sort of jacking or something and 'may' have raised his gun in fear for himself considering what he was involved in (that the tabloids are saying he was a dealer/gangster) as there was some sort of commotion prior in Bradford where I 'think' someone called police and he got stopped in Huddersfield at ainley top junction where this all happened.
There's so many stories and comments to try and ridicule this situation where ever possible.

As much as it's a ridiculous question I don't mind answering.
A coward carries a weapon because they feel they may come under attack and are unable to defend themselves. Rather than giving up a dangerous lifestyle like the scared little boy he was or choosing to learn how to defend himself he chose to get a gun.

So how does one defend ones self from someone with a gun, without using a gun?

US police killed twice as many white males than black males in 2015. That's not a statistic the media want you to hear. Just like the downplay of the 4 black males who tortured and scalped a white disabled kid in Chicago whilst shouting about white people and Trump. No mention of race hate though funnily enough.

In end if people don't want to get shot don't carry guns, there really is no excuse for having one in the UK. Race is only an issue to those who want it to be.

Well just read up on the guy and it would seem (if early reports are to be believed) that he was at the very least a bit of a rum lad and if the full extent of what is being said about him being a feared gangsta that was robbing grows and generally running amock involved in other shootings then it's no surprise the police dealt with him in this manner.

Also gun found in his car at the scene.

Live by the sword and all that.

P.S They're also saying it's not 'Terror' related which shows the possibility was discussed.

Don't take everything you read in the media at full pace, media seem to be making loads of theories AT for news as usual.
They say he had a Lamborghini paid by his drug money etc etc, but in fact was a rental.
Don't believe the hype.

Not long ago a mate of mine died from a taser stun gun (Jamaican lad) nr Manchester.
Reports say there was a burglary and he was tasered which ended up him dying by the time he got to hospital.
Real fact was he was at a party of a friends house which he was invited to, there was some fracas that happened within the party, which he was not involved in, he was maybe being confrontational with police asking questions etc but due to his size the police tazered him.

have you got a source for that?

and what about the % of the population that are Black/Hispanic versus white - does that make a difference?

Yes, the police victimising the BME person is possible, so is the lad being a crim. A tabloid paper even said that their named source informs the police shooting victim as a hard core heroin dealer. I think we need to wait and see what the police and then what the IPCC have to say.

It's also possible that the fire arm was later put near him, after he was shot dead. Who is to say that he definitely carried it with him? I think we need Frost to sort this case.

Seriously, I think we need to wait and see.

About him posing with a Lamborghini, I'm sure any of you will; if you get to stand next to one. Just because the Lamborghini happens to be yellow doesn't make him a chav.

Does anyone know why some black people struggle to properly pronounce the word 'ask'?

Am I some sort of personal researcher for you?. Find your own sources, if they conflict with what I've said feel free to oppose them.

Accent to start with, I suppose. Then if the accent is no more an excuse, just a dialectical modification for the ease. What it eases, well, don't aks me dat.

As an English-speaking Englishman, you try speaking Jamaican. You may end up with a word or two that you may speak like a total spud.

I'm white. I've been arrested 4 times, only once was it down to something I'd done.
Must be some racial profiling **** going on. I only had to be shown not to resist arrest once though, it's not a mistake I'd make again.

Probably for the same reasons that Croatians can't pronounce squirrel properly either and as an English speaker I struggle with lj, dg and ts words in Croatian.
