To do:
Full service
A few choice engine mods before a remap
Depending on condition, I want to refresh everything underneath.
All the pink stuff cleaned up.
Wheel arches stripped and redone in white.
Cosmetic mods planned:
18" Revolution Millenniums in gold
Red rally armour mud flaps
Brakes refreshed and painted red
Recaro Speed or Profi seats (black but maybe red) or modified DC5 Recaros and Sabelt harness.
It's what I want (90s rally slag look ) so not everyone's cuppa and nothing that can't put the car back to standard in the future.
Oh, and make a clean spot in the garage so it has somewhere to sleep!
That sounds mint pal can't wait to see it all come together

put some light smoke light overlays on my hatch today which look pretty good.I may do the rear lights as well now I know how these look.
I may even get some darker film for the rear reversing lights as that would look good being as my hatch is a dark colour.
I have the same film to do the front headlights as well when it gets a little warmer etc and as it isn't too dark I will not lose any of the light from the headlights but will still look slightly tinted as well.
just makes them look a little different especially as I have 2 reversing lights as well instead of just the normal one.
Exhaust swap on the classic ( currently blitz nur spec ) too loud , ha.
Fix exhaust leak ( getting fumes in the car)
Fit newly refurbished brembo calipers along with pf discs and pads
Swap rb5 alloys over to newly powder coated rota gra alloys ( to clear the brembos )
Been busy with the Greenwagon over the last couple of years
Phase 1 engine bay 90% done
Phase 2 bodywork and arches done
Phase 3 suspension and brakes done
Phase 4. The underneath
All the underneath stripped off and rust proofed and all rusty components remove and replaced with some Subaru OE parts wishbones and subframe
Might get them powdercoated as well
Lots of hardrace products added to give a nice bright blue finish
Lots of whiteline products added arb front and rear .anti lift kid ,droplinks amd bushes and even a brace or two
Nuts and bolts replaced with nice shiny ones
Haven't a clue what they will do but they look smart
I want a mix of black and gold and a splash of blue underneath where no one can see although ive got a couple of big mirrors ready for the show season
Budget 2/3k no idea just giving the master craftsman Rob an vision and he can do what ever he thinks needs done
Financial madness as I've spend double on what the car is worth today but it doesnt matter in the end

Signs of old age maz!! Don't take the blitz off man
Very true Zany! loving me blitz, even if me neighbours aint!! lol still liking the look of lord hardings bonnet blanket
Lord Harding is defo one for giving inspiration to others aswell as myself for one went carbon dipped under bonnet instead of cannabis leaves when getting the bits done underbonnet phew!! He saved me from being over chavitised
Dare to be different hey zany, be bloody boring if we all had the same tastes, i looked into one of them blankets but don't think the guy who done lordhardings is still making um, I'm currently thinking about chuckin some money at my interior, DAMD steering wheel for sure and haps set of DEFI gauges, its only money lol!!!!

Defo ted sounds like a plan interior mods are always more satisfying mate as I've come to find you can appreciate what you have achieved in a DIFFRENT way for example power mods have there own buzz for the adrenaline etc but interior mods give you a different type of buzz altogether
I went for power mods last yr and av regretted it ever since, stuck on a vf34 and bloody hate it, way to laggy and spools up proper slow, hoping a harvey trick up pipe and a map tweak will bring the fun factor!
Will hopefully be looking to replace the wrc bumper and headlights on the s202 and put it back to stock. If anyone knows of a stock bumper and set of headlights going give me a shout. If anyone is interested in taking the wrc bumper and lights off my hands, give me a shout. Skirts will be coming off too.

U cheap skate
let's have some pics of the wrc bug bumper then I don't think I've seen one yet..
Nice item indeed I would have ripped it off your hands if I still had my bug and that had a sti prodrive one on yours looks mental but I totally understand you putting it back to standard as its a S202 this would be a good mod beef up that front end IMO GLWTS mate
Fit the Hawkeyes speedo, fit the gauges, fit the front and rear droplinks and anti roll bars, fit the 340l fuel pump, induction kit, fit and have mapped Alcatek ecu. Next purchase will be Hardrace lateral links and trailing arms.

Got loads to do on my yellow Golf Mk1 1.6td, engine out and re-fresh it, not sure if I'll be doing the bottom end but bought almost everything for top end re-fresh head gasket / de-coke kit, bottom ends are pretty strong apparently, so I'll see once I strip it.
Weld a new piece in the passenger foot well and probably new sills too, cut out and replace rear arches then prep and paint the whole car, also replace all hoses and bushes, probably underseal it all too, oh and source some front seats, should keep me busy for a week or two.

Have you got any pics of it on the other marques section bud? A link would be good or some pics if you got some
Test whether 330mm discs will fit under my wheels, if so order some longer bolts and bigger discs/pads (315mm currently)
Think about fixing the rust
Replace the offside cam cover (near side done)
I have been collecting lots of parts over the last couple of years;
Wrapped exahust manifolds
Harvey Uppipe
Complete turbo-back Miltek system
Spare TD04 (to Hybrid perhaps)
Hawk Blue injectors
Bigger fuel pump (fitted)
3 port boost solenoid
7 plugs (fitted)
But engine is on 170k. So deliberating whether to just fit it all now and hope that it lasts a while or have a fully rebuilt engine fitted and maybe go for a bigger turbo also.
I can't really afford (time wise) to be without a car if the engine fails and I have to wait for a rebuild. On the other hand, decent rebuilds aren't cheap. Engine could go on for another 50k after mods and map. Or it could fail in a month's time if I leave it stock.
